I think a lot of Bad Omens fans are really just Noah Sebastian fans 🤣 they need to realize he’s not just the lead singer but he’s also the producer of everything they release. And the production on this track is so sick.

I was like where's Noah, however there's Noah everywhere in this track lol that's something that people don't realize. I like poppy and I'm glad she took this route of music instead of other areas. Even if you don't don't like poppy the instrumentals in this song are on point and very Bad Omens.

totally agree with you and Bad Omens is not just Noah singing/screaming, it's the entire band and their music and this is BO's instrumentation and Noah's production paired with Poppy's voice...Poppy has some pretty good bangers (I love X, Scary Mask, Concrete, I Disagree, EAT, Say Cheese) and she mixes genres too, metal-proggy with pop elements, so as a fellow ST, Bad Omens, Spiritbox fan, this collab makes sense and I love it ♥🖤

Her whole career is such a creative journey and a wild rabbit hole to venture into. Also she gives a massive middle finger to the "Pop" music industry itself. It's hilarious that Poppy has probably produced some of the fiercest and calmest music of the past two years, yet still has time to stop by on her journey to annoy a bunch of middle of the road metalcore fans (whilst delighting everyone else)......
Bad Omens and Poppy are touring Europe this will be an awesome song for Bad Omens to bring Poppy out during their set and have Noah get a small break before popping in towards the end with a massive scream💖
Thank you for taking about the fans reaction about Noah not being on the track. People have been very mean with Poppy. Even before the release, the teaser comment section was disgusting cause some people thought that the song would be pop (since Poppy has also pop, metal, rock songs in her career).
If you would like to dive in to Poppy you should try her metal and industrial metal work first. Such like EAT (NXT Soundtrack), Spit (Song cover), and her I Disagree (More) album this last one it’s very metal-industrial pop mixed.

Would like to see Poppy and Noah do like a live duet of this song! This video was spot on with just Poppy singing though. She was the perfect choice.
Reminds me a *little* bit of Mushroomhead; they brought a woman on several years ago to sing with them (which split their fanbase in half) of those who approved and those who hated it.

I fell in love with bad Omens, and not once have I found a song that I don't like of theirs. V.A.N. is a banger, but these people are also just looking at it as the music, and not listening to the lyrics. It's more than just about singing, strumming, and drumming.
I agree with you completely about the toxic fans out there. I'm surprised that people weren't more pumped about the collaboration, but I guess they're just not familiar with Poppy...? I love both of these artists and I thought this track was badass. If you want to get more into Poppy, you can try starting out with either something off her EAT EP or the I Disagree album, which is my favorite. They are both more "metal" that some of her other records.
Also, I'm sure someone will take you up on your offer. You are definitely cute, but you're far more interesting than just that based on what I've seen from your other videos.

Poppy is underrated. She's very experimental. She gets overshadowed by Tatiana, Courtney and Alissa, but who in the world doesn't get overshadowed by those three. She still has some bangers.

I really liked this song, and I wasn’t expecting him not to sing.
One of the great things about being a fan of a band is that if you don't like something they put out? Just wait, they'll come out with other stuff. Maybe you'll like that. Maybe you won't. You'll be okay either way.
For example, a fun fact about me: I didn't particularly care for Sleep Token's 'This Place Will Become Your Tomb' (it's not terrible; I just didn't vibe with it is all).
Imagine if I'd written them off after that. I'd've missed out on 'Take Me Back to Eden' 😱😱😱😱
I have 5 autistic boys, 3 are my step sons. I showed this to my kids 10 and 4. My 4 year old loves poppy like I do. My 4 year old was so into the video. Later in the night as I’m making dinner he comes too me and in the violence against nature he sang but said “mommy ma ma mommy”. One time, he watched it and heard it one time lol.
Was funny, I discovered Spiritbox, Bad Omens and Sleep Token (as well as Loathe), all within a few days of each other. YT algorithms finally useful lol
Noah did actually sing on this track. He just never appeared in the video. Watch the live version. Also, you don't need to spend any time on the haters. They are either fans, or they aren't. That's on them.
The albums I Disagree and Flux by Poppy are really good and interesting if you decide to take a dive into her music! her Eat EP is the hardestttt. I Disagree, and everything after that album is when she began to make music more adjacent to metal/alternative/rock music, but the genre is always unexpected and different. Everything before that album is pretty much purely bubblegum pop so i wouldn't recommend that if you're not into that. I love Bad Omens as well as Poppy so this def awesome

This song was a great surprise for the start of 2024. I love your take down of the Bad Omens keyboard warriors. I haven't followed the band before, but reading some of the comments felt like stumbling into some kind of metalcore (un)civil war! That said, some of the opinions about Poppy's Zig weren't so friendly. It seems weird to me that fans attach themselves to creative musicians and then grumble when they throw curveballs or because they "aren't doing it right".

@@ajplays7241 Me too. Did you know the ancient Romans used to bleach their hair and even their ani (according to Philomena Cunk, who I learn all my history from). So Poppy is really just carrying on the traditions of her ancient ancestors, and that's such a beautiful thing.

I think some of you don't realise what a treat it is for artists to get to work with Poppy. Just be happy for them even if it's not your cup of tea.

What I do love the most about you, is your authenticity, and the way you do reacted. Not over the top, no clickbait thumbnail.. I mean, to be honest, I"ve used sponsorblock to block others youtube channels cuz they're F%%%%g annoying with theirs over the top reaction just for views.

I knew this song would get so much hate because as proven with Sleep token recently, people like to think they have rights over what artists do. If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. I love this song despite the fact that Noah is not singing in it. He is not required to do everything for us, he is an artist and deserves to play around and express himself and poppy too. I’m very happy with their collaboration. Poppy reminds me of Jinx from Arcane going metal!
And poppy is super talented and adorable I might add. You are not a true fan if you take things a band does and bash them if they do something you don’t like. Everyone has their own tastes. And I have listened to this song over 200 times. I can’t get enough, but Even if I hated it I wouldn’t say anything.

It’s all the tik tac Bad Omens “fans” who really are just cruelly obsessed with Noah who hate this song because he doesn’t sing in it. And unfortunately that portion of fandom (a much better term describe them) is a MUCH louder vocal minority and it makes me sick. I feel like I’m back in the Linkin Park fandom again where the Hybrid Theory “fans” shit on everything they put out that wasn’t Hybrids Theory levels of Nu Metal instead of actually listening to the music
