1-lawn mower (bmwi8)
3- GR corrolla
4-2018 WRX
5-Audi s1 sport quatro
6-Alfa romeo 155 v6 ti
8-2024 Shelby gt500

For my best sounding V8 is a Ford Terminator/2004 supercharged cobra
Bro talked about Ls but no hemi??? (For V8)
Eh. Hemis and coyotes sound too raspy for me
@ understandable, it does always come down to opinion, I respect that
In my opinion the best sounding car is the C8 corvette ZO6
The Gemera was supposed to have the 3-Cylinder TFG engine but Koenigsegg scrapped the idea as no one wanted a 3 Cylinder hypercar so now it will roll out with the same 5L TTV8 out the Jesko.
GMA T50 is the pick with the v12 for me, sounds nuts
Personally would’ve chosen the GT350R for V8 but I can’t argue with the C8 ZO6
Suzuki Cappuccino is one of the best 3 cylinder sounding car. Also it's one of the highest revving.
8:25 i really like how 4 cylinder boxer sounds, i own a Ford Focus ST mk2 with a inline 5 turbo engine that sounds amazing. But i would really like to own a V8 one day, those engines sounds AMAZING.
V8 are my favorite with v12 close behind
Then v10, i5, v6 and so on
3 cylinder: Toyota GR Yaris. best but still mid
4 cylinder: Porsche Cayman lowkey underrated sound its actually pretty decent
5 cylinder: Cupra VZ5 sound pretty good
6 cylinder Porsche NA Flat 6. It wins by a long shot
8 cylinder: Ferrari 458. One of the best sounding cars ever
10 cylinder: Lamborghini Huracan Perf. The pops that thing makes on the downshifts plus the unique noice. beats the LFA by a mile
12 cylinder: Lafferrari. best sounding stock car ever. But if u do a novitec on the 812 now thats teh best sounding car ever. better then the gintani svj
16 cylinder: Tourbillion. its soudn amazing way better then the chiron and veyron
NA V12 is unbeaten. Its impossible to make a NA V12 sound bad
W list
naa your ending sentance ATE 😭😭😭
Yep, the one you see in my pfp is just absolute music to my ears ngl (best sounding V12? IDK, maybe)
Fun fact: I5s were Volvo's bread and butter, check out the S60R from the 2000s. Chevy also made them for the 1st gen Colorado and Canyons, I was pissed when they didn't bring em back for the current gen
my list (added a few motorbikes and some non street legal stuff):
3 cyl: xs750, gr yaris
4 cyl: cbr250, r1
5 cyl: group b audi quattro
6 cyl: porsche 911 gt3, cbx1000, m1 pro car, r34 skyline
8 cyl: bmw 134 judd v8, koenigsegg jesko, sauber c9, c6 zo6
10 cyl: carrera gt, lfa, sesto elemento, solus gt
12 cyl: huayra r, fxx, any v12 lambo (they sound kinda the same to me)
16 cyl: brm v16, tourbillon, chiron super sport
If this list wasn’t restricted to production cars the Porsche 919 Evo would definitely be my top four cylinder
The 2018 gt350r is my favorite sounding car
I always thought 1970-73 Camaros had the best sounding V8s with 350 3 barrel carburetors which is part of why I own one lol
For me personally I would say
3 cyl: GR Corolla
4 cyl: A45 amg
5 cyl: Audi rs3
6 cyl: torn between r35 GTR and the Ferrari 296 GTB
8 cyl: I love the sound of a good LS motor but the win has to go to the c63 w204
10 cyl: LFA
12 cyl: pagani zonda f
16 cyl: tourbillion
i agree but id pick the corvette c4 zr1 383 or the ourth gen trans am ws6 for v8s
5 cylinder also have a vr5 layout in some golf
2: A 2-cylinder boxer engine, like the one in the Citroën 2CV or BMW motorcycles.
3: GR Yaris (same engine as the top-tier model, but I find this body style more attractive).
4: Lancia Delta S4. Honestly, any 4-cylinder from Group B homologation cars could go here-they all sound amazing.
5: Volvo V70. The Audi Quattro S1 sounds better, but it's a race car.
6: Busso V6 engine, as seen in the Alfa 156 GTA.
8: Hennessey Venom F5.
10: Lexus LFA.
12: Ferrari Enzo.
16: Bugatti Tourbillon.
Hearing an 812 and an SVJ in person the 812 sounds angrier
the Alfa Romeo carburated boxers 4 cylinders from the 70s sound like heaven.
and the V6 Busso? the 12 Valve V6 Busso is the one known for being the "Violin" a N/A 12 Valve V6

5 cylinder: RS3
6 cylinder: anything s58, b58, or flat 6
8 cylinder: 458 or any s63 bmw or any mopar
10 cylinder: gallardo superleggera
12 cylinder: Zonda R
16 cylinder: chiron
The LFA drifting at 9:49 is ❤❤ awesome
IMO all 3 cylinders sound good, but my favorites have to be 2 strike 3 cylinders such as the ones found in the Saab 96 and the wartburg 353
