This thing outshines every other glitch plugin ever in every way
This video is EXCELLENT. I was on the fence about buying, but the moment you took the effects off bypass when playing the whole song, it convinced me. I also subscribed!

Polyrhythms on the sequencer is something that would be awesome on a future update

I've been furiously searching for something like this for the last 3 or 4 days. I almost bought the Tantra VST. Glad I held off!
tantra is still awesome for many different reasons, it's been one of my favorites for some time, and allows you to modulate more controls than infiltrator, another one worth checking out is looperator, these 3 are my favorite "rhythm" multi effects, they all sync up really nice and sound good, yet completely different
pick up tantra if you can, there might be a V2 on the way as well
but currently Infiltrator is the newest and shiniest

Very helpful review. My test: very nice presets (e.g. filters), cool sound. Works great in combination with Tantra ;-).

It felt like someone unleashed a can of worms in my ear ducts when you took them of bypass.
Output Portal is pretty nice for mangling sounds, and if you put Thermal on top of it even more so. Movement is nice too but boy does it eat CPU.
Love your channel, and tried to order through your affiliate link, however I ran into so much frustration navigating through plugin boutique's maddening captcha gatekeeper that I went straight to devious machines instead. I did mention your channel where appropriate in the checkout process though. Keep up the great content. 🙏
This looks great! Others? .Unfiltered Audio's BYOME can do wonders; and, if one has Reaktor, Molekular from Native Instruments itself, can also reach for the stars
Oh and Gleetchlab - bit fiddly, but once you have it up and running...

superb overview..you always get to the key points with clarity, that address the practical applications use or abuse.
Looperatormhas been my go-to for glitch work to this point, but Infiltrator seems to be a serious contender going forward.
It would be great to have your thoughts about Ineardisplay Amalgame. I haven’t seen many RUclips demos for that one.

Considering I have Stutter Edit 2 and Rift (if I don't mind automation... especially in key section of fl)... what would make this plug different?

@@kafa1172 Very good. There's some overlap with Shaperbox 2 but Infiltrator goes deeper and 'Whackier'.

i by chance could you tell me a plugin similar to i wish that allows me to trigger a melody or any other thing with midi triggers? I took a look at infiltrator but it doesn't convince me much .. I'm looking for something simpler! thank you

welcome to another edition of "making loud noises until my wife tells me to turn it down" lol....priceless =) Similar to Shaperbox, but there's enough variation in Infiltrator to justify owning both I think. Gonna grab a demo and throw stuff at it to see what it does =)

Could you possibly mention some of the Multi fx you're mourning. Why do I get the feeling that you are bewailing the end of Camelphat (Come on Apple you boughtCamel...just rerelease what was a superb Multifx), and also my favourite, Adrenaline.
I would love to see a plugin exactly like this except you can assign the modulators to parameters in any other plugin. Kinda like bigwigs modulators.
Difficult to program since the DAWs are different. Had the same idea regarding Xfer LFOTool and it seems very impossible to offer this compatibility.
@@vidarhjal if someone could make it they would be on the cutting edge of the technology. I think its the next step. I feel like a plugin like metaplugin that hosts other plugins would make it possible.
@@lawinter1949 yeah it would be amazing. Just imagine to control any parameter of any plugin with through any other plugin's parameters :D glitch fx controlling an oscillator of a vst synth

Infiltrator looks pretty nice. 80€ is imo kinda ok, If you ll get some good use out of it. ...but is it still worth, when you already got Looperator and Shaperbox? 🤔 Not sure. ...but still, even with having those others I still feel tempted, but if I didn't have the other two it would be an instabuy for me 😃✌️
I have a ton of multi-fx from sugar bytes, Dimitry sches, cableguys etc....and Infiltrator definitely has it's own flavours, especially when it comes to drive / saturation. The filters are amazing too. I'd say moog-like, and the big plus is being able to sequence the effects. It's excellent

Effectrix, Looperator, Turnado, Shaper box, Gross Beat, Remnant, MRhythmizer....
Effectrix: Much less customizable, no MSEGs.
Turnado (edited) : Much much less customizable, no MSEGs
Shaperbox: Way less flexible and way less effects to choose from, no sequencer, though the MSEG is the best of the best imo.
Gross Beat: Come on man. That's not even comparable.
Remnant: ... ???
MRhythmizer: Just gross beat but better, so still not comparable.
All of these plugins are awesome in their own unique ways, Shaperbox's MSEG editor is frikin awesome, there's some stuff you can pull off in Effetrix and Turnado you can't do anywhere else, but I really think Infiltrator really is something special here. The sheer power: it's huge suite of effects, the msegs, the sequencer, the post effects, the huuuuge preset library I really do feel like this is the new holy grail of glitch plugins.

what difference with a Cablesguys Shaperbox2 bundle?
So much.... including less CPU, better audio quality, nicer sounding effects with more mods and much more efficient workflow. Try the demo and hear the difference!
Complexity that retains accessibility from what I've seen.

How is the cpu load, taxing?
Haven't really had any issues with it! Actually pretty light for as powerful as the plugin is. However, I have an i7 6700k which is still a fairly powerful processor. That said I haven't really had issues with this plugin unless I have several instances on several different tracks in a big session.
I'd give the demo a spin and see how it works on your system!

Here's my question for you, Cameron: you never see the microphone you use to record these videos, and you're not wearing a lav. Yet your audio sounds like it has massive proximity effect, as if you were right up on the mic. So...what mic are you using, and what processing are you doing to get this incredible sound?
It’s a shotgun mic just out of frame with massive compression and eq boosts. Standard issue production :)
He gets this question a lot, but it’s mostly just a combination of the right microphone and the right voice. He really does just naturally have a really deep fundamental-y voice all the time.
Yo! Not too much to talk about really. I use a Deity S-Mic 2 which is about 2-3ft away from me angled towards my face.
In terms of processing, I have a gate to catch any room tone, a slight compressor to catch any peaks or random plosives, an EQ to cut the subby stuff as well as remove a little bit of 400hz (the mic is a bit boxy) and then a little bit of a high shelf. There's a de-esser, and that's really it.
The big 'secret' people seem to obsess over is just that I sound like a truck commercial all the time haha. Most people think it's some special effect, but I just sound like a radio ad forever. Genetic lottery I suppose.
