Great review. It's primarily a hillwalking and mountaineering jacket. The reflective patches work great when a headtorch shines on them. Any other use and reflection is not needed. A bike should have proper lights and be highly visible, for example, so large reflectors not required. I've owned this for almost 3 years and it's fantastic. It does eventually let water in with pressure of a heavy back pack but stays comfortably warm and if wild camping it is so nice to out these and the trousers on in the morning even when they are still soaking wet. One thing that annoyed me was the lack of stud closure at the bottom of the zip (e.g. round a belay loop if jacket thrown on in anger while belaying). I fitted my own after finding a glue on velcro patch didn't quite have enough strength to hold it shut.
