Jesus Christ can he sing! His English is also pretty good. I liked Junichi's performance as Sonic but knowing the fact that he's a great singer, Japanese and English, just gives me more respect for the man than I already had for him. I'm hoping we get to hear more of his singing in the future, he's really good at it.

In the original Sonic Adventure, Sonic sings a version of "It Doesn't Matter" at the end of his story right before the credits begin. The actual voice actor isn't doing the singing in that instance (neither Jun'ichi nor Ryan Drummond sing it), but clearly the words are still meant to be coming from Sonic's mouth.

I have a huge liking for this level of Engrish. It's totally decipherable as English words but it still sounds unique and beautiful with the accent. Is that kind of racist of me, still? sigh.. Its been 8 years since I made this comment (and heard this song) and this video reminds me of simpler times. Back when I wasn't ashamed to like Sonic (its...different now), when I more natually projected onto him. Back when a wider variety of music could more naturally make me feel things. Back before I felt betrayed by multiple friends. Back when Sonic 06 was unironically the coolest thing ever behind Sonic CD. I understand the true nature of love better now...but back then this song spoke to me...I was an innocent teenager with a fairely innocent childhood...little did I know how unprepared I was for adulthood... I have autism btw. Not sure why I felt the need to say that...I feel off. I have so many thoughts that I want to share with people but I don't cause I feel people don't care about what I have to say. I miss being more innocent before...I still haven't fully grown up, despite trying too hard at some points. Maybe nothing has really changed, I've just accumulated more info and become more self concious... But still, Sonic 06 meant a lot to me. The love Elise and Sonic had for each other unironically meant a lot to me, they felt real in a way that no other story has really given me before. Like obviously there exists more realistic depictions of love in other media, but this felt more real to me...like in my head it felt more vivid...even now I can see it through the eyes of an innocent teenager. It was a cross between my childhood and what I percieved to be my future. Both Sonic and Elise are good hearted and relatable, they would be perfect for each other if not for the plot and being different ages/species. Its tragic but still presents itself hopefully with an uncompromising sense of seriousness. Its not just respectable, its relatable. I took things very seriously at that age. Sonic acted the way I envisioned him acting when I was a kid playing Sonic 3 and Elise felt like a very holy person, its someone anyone can look up to/be inspired by...I miss those days...
Freddy Fazbear, the animatronic bear of FNaF well it does pose a problem when you try to change a straight character into a gay character for literally no reason. Comes off as "political" rather than asking if it fits the character. We see this all over the place with changing established characters and it's almost always a dumpster fire in the end.
