I finished your kitchen chaos unity course about half a year ago now, and I have added lots of extra features to my game, in the end, presenting it Infront of my school. You may not remember it, but you answered all of my questions I had on the unity course.
Now that I am old enough to have a debit card, I can say thanks for all the guidance and support that you have given me.

Honestly, I'm glad you enjoy making videos and chatting. Your voice is great for any of those topics. Why not make a "Life Hacks for Game Devs" Channel and just share good insights about whatever you feel like? Game devs need good exercise, good nutrition and good mental stimulation (reading) too!
Ive been looking for a channel to cover my favourite topics and now I have it all in one! Can't wait for the next video I am hoping to learn more about running and reading!

I've tried learning very inconsistently over the past 10 years so haven't really learned much, can really only play super basic stuff. I'd love to spend some time actively focused on learning.
Nice! That book has helped me massively, I hope it helps you as well!
@@CodeMonkeyUnity Try basic exercises for about 10 to 20mins a day to help build finger dexterity, then gradually you'll feel more comfortable playing intermediate stuff, so keep trying even if it's slow progress

Heh I feel like giving a few pointers as you go on so I'll just add them here and as I watch the vid:
- knife handling, the blade always away from you, to avoid accidental cuts.
- when holding the knife hold the blade from the top, give's you leverage and a strong hold.
- this one is prob already done, knife needs to be sharpened and blade straightened for safety (picked this up from a Gordon Ramsey video a while back). And yes a sharp knife causes less unwanted cuts, therefore.
And the cooking part is over :D. hahahah I got trolled :D.
OK had to edit for final thought(s) .... WOW SUCH COMPLETE CHANNEL.... BEST CHANNEL EVER!!!!
heh I actually cut myself for the very first time while making this video!
I was too focused on making sure the camera was right and my hand wasn't blocking the view that the knife was indeed not perfectly angled and it slid down on the onion and sliced my finger. I normally don't have that problem since I'm focused on just cutting but adding the camera made it quite a bit trickier.

Love this haha. As a fellow non-native English speaker, i always fascinated by RUclipsrs like you who have vast vocabulary and speak English effortlessly!! Do you mind sharing tips on your English learning? Btw thanks for helping me on learning unity :)
It's really just a lot of time spent thinking/listening to English. I spent a lot of my childhood watching Cartoon Network which was in English with no subtitles, so I had to learn.
Then since I've been interesting in programming since I was a kid, and programming is really English, I've had to learn to read write.
Nowadays my brain works more in English than Portuguese heh, I really only use Portuguese when I talk to people in real life which is a lot less than the time I spend online listening to English or reading/writing comments and writing/recording videos.
So just like with programming in general, it's all about Experience!
