i look forward to your feedback thanks for watching
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has ordered. The first packages went out today and the rest will go out by Thursday…I am interested in feedback as much as BLACKIE… I also try and put a little surprise in each package…😂HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY…BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL AND THANK YOU AGAIN
Thank you for the hand and body soap samples that you included in the package. I was willing to pay the shipping because I knew that I was supporting a small business. The soaps smell really nice and I do plan on trying them out soon.
Thank you for this super product and for the very nice bath soap. Good job all around. GOD IS GOOD AND HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOREVER!
@@joedhall3424tell me how to order this gun butter, Tom
How can i order some of this
do you sell this on line
Thanks Blackie for this info. I have 2 BP revolvers and I usually just put a light coat of bearing grease on the cylinder rod and then CLP on the rest to include in the barrel, then I store in the safe. I have heard of types of lube like what you are discussing and seriously thinking of trying this out now. Thanks again for your helpful tips and tricks-
Thanks Blackie for introducing this product. I've found that short of a complete breakdown cleaning, this Gun Butter is the bomb. Cleans like Breakfree or moosemilk and lubes like Borebutter.
One product to carry with confidence.
Pretty impressive. I appreciate your taking the time to review and evaluate this product.
Been shooting BP revolvers for 62 years and I've used various types of lube, but always water for cleaning. Relied heavily on Clenzoil or Ballistol for lubrication and preserving the metal. Recently, I've been using a cleaner and lube from Aegis Gun Care for both BP and smokeless. Thus far, its been amazingly good at both. Though old and somewhat set in my ways, I'm never closed minded about firearms maintenance. I'll be checking out this product you've been using. I'll get back to you on my experience with it.
Again, thank you for your dedication and experience you share.
Crisco..
@@akatripclaymore.9679 I used Crisco back in the 60's but discontinued using it. If I need lubrication for the ball, I'll use a lubed felt wad. Way less of a mess. But mainly I don't use any lube at all.
@@anangryranger It's just cheap, but yeah messy too. Black Powder IS messy either way.
Been looking forward to an update on the gun butter's development. So, this latest review is very timely. Seems to be a very versatile product. Thanks for providing order information.
I got my Gun Butter and it does just what Blackie says it does. This has now replaced my Bore Butter. I used it on a .38 Special I took out with me and the barrel stayed a lot cleaner than usual shooting cast lead bullets.
Blackie, A Great Video and Outstanding Information, I learn something every time I watch your videos . Thanks Again for sharing of your time and knowledge and wisdom and passing on the craft. Tim L.
Thanks to you and your colleague for sending some of the gun butter my way, Blackie. I will try it out in the near future and provide feedback!
I used a sample you sent me last week to clean not one but three black powder .45 colt pistols in like half the time it takes me to clean one with water and ballistol. Very effective.
AND i found has been effective in getting leading out of the rifling of my 1911 .45 that I have been trying to scrub out for two years.
I will definitely order more. Good product
I just placed an order for one of each the bore butter and the bullet lube. Thanks Blackie for all the help, information, and great 👍 products!!!
Looks like a great product! I will be sure to add when I carry my BP revolver in the field. Thanks, Blackie!
Thank you for the update/review on the gun butter. This upload was perfectly timed because, with winter just around the corner, I can test it out as a winter grade bullet lube up here in northern Michigan. My go to winter lube has just been pure Crisco/lard because it is the only thing that I have found so far that won't freeze solid at temperatures below 32°F. I just ordered a jar this morning and I am looking forward to trying it out.
I was just wondering how it would do in Winter Weather also. Last year it got down below freezing (32*F ) hear in Northern Arizona and the Bore Butter I was using didn't do the job on my 1860 Army and even worse on my Rem. 1858 . Balistol helps but this sounds like it might be even better under some circumstances.
Looks like some good stuff. Also that 61 navy ( stormborne) is just beautiful.
That’s a great test. It seems like it would work well on the chamber and bore of a single shot shotgun, shooting shells loaded with Pyrodex, on a several day hunting and camping trip, and waiting to do a complete cleaning until getting home. I’m getting some!
Series on Survival Shotguns... Can't wait for that. Gonna be golden !
I've learned so much Mister Blackie from your videos on BP, I've been looking for a lube for the BP pistols, looks good to use... Thanks for sharing!...
We have some 100 degree weather here and bore butter on the end of the cylinders melts out and leaves a mess unless you lube right before shooting. I nickel plated all my BP revolvers and even the inside of the cylinders. On my little 1849 I even did the bore just for a test. It hasn't shot out yet. I clean in water but use Ed's Red to wipe down and even lightly coat the barrels and cyl. I have actually cleaned the gun with only the Ed's red... it also works on old corrosive primed surplus ammo.
Thanks Blackie! I’m interested in more of these videos!
You should check after each shot to see if the lube has ben blown out of any of the unfired cylinders.
Looks like great stuff especially no rust after 4 days. I went to order some until I got to the shipping, $15 for shipping is high. If they get a lower rate I will still be interested.
The shipping is a set amount and I agree it’s high.. I’m working on that…I will also throw you in a bar of soap to help sweeten the deal…thank you guys so much
@@ledagreen9896 Hi Leda, thank you for your reply. If you can can get the shipping down to even say $10 I will definitely buy some.
@@bluescatreimer ken shipping is running between9-13 dollars depending on how many butters were ordered. The bar of soap is 7.50. So either way you still getting the better deal babe.. my soap is amazing. I send a little piece of silver some have been putting on their key chains. I cant drop my shipping on my site below 15 because of the weight of some of the candles I ship..but if you order I will be extra nice to you ken😂😂 please could anyone give us some feed back on the packages you received from me guys..DID YOU LIKE THEM? Did I make up for the shipping cost?Help me out here lol❤❤❤❤I ALWAYS TRY AND BE A BLESSING❤
@@ledagreen9896 Hi Leda, I just placed my order with you. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for being so nice! 😊
@@ledagreen9896 Thank you so much for the extra goodies! I used the Mojo soap right away and it was great. My wife loved the other soaps too! I could smell them as soon as I started to open the box. The Gun Butter works just like Blackie says, great stuff. Cool little hand charm too, thank you again Leda! God Bless!
I am a 2 time Blackbird customer,So to stay not a total cheap skate. I was placing my order for the Gun Butter and the shipping was $15.00. so I will hold off until it at least ships in a USPS "if it fits,it ships box"
I totally agree the shipping is high mr Curtis Lee. I try to put a little extra in the boxes to make up for it…I am working on shipping changes. It’s on a base rate because of my candle weights…so it’s my system that doesn’t account for the rates..this is why I try and make up the difference with surprise bars of soap ❤ Thank you sir for considering ordering and supporting An old retired nurse..😂
If it was anybody but Blackie I would be very sceptical about these claims. But if Blackie says it's so I have to figure it's completely true. Thank you for the video and info. God bless you my friend.
Very impressive Blackie. Thanks.
I gonna give this a try looks like the jar would last a long time.
Mrs HUSTON, THANK YOU SO MUCH…YOU WERE THE FIRST ORDER❤❤❤❤
@ledagreen9896 how do I order this product
Mr. Thomas- A couple of questions if you would: Do you use an over-powder wad with this lube; and if so do you lube the wads with the gun butter? Thanks for any answer, Bob
I want to order some, but I'm not gonna be home for at least 2 weeks.
Triple bypass surgery
I was unsubsidized by youtube I guess, resubscrived!
Awesome black powder revolver and knowledge bro! May I suggest the channel Rune Rebel?
AAAAAAHHHHHHH....
Spider on the camera!!! Just before 22:00
Yeb i saw the Spider, I love Blackies video's
And awesome shooting!
Blackie, great to see your presentation on the "light butter". (Not asking for your trade secrets, but I bet it's almost 25% olive oil)
I had a good day myself with a first test of maxi-ball in my flintlock hawken. At 50 yards I had two rounds nearly on top of each other, and 1/2" off the diamond center of my 2" dia orange dot. I think the rifle is better than me for sure.
Can't wait to go doe hunting next weekend. Maybe even a bear, if it comes along. I'm all tagged up.
Thanks again, and have a great Sunday.
How does it do in high temperatures? Here in the Fl. summers bore butter, crisco, etc turns to a liquid mess. Could wads be soaked in this? I am using wads soaked in a 1:1 beeswax/olive oil mix currently. I love all the innovative videos you present.
Thanks Blackie
Thank You So much!!!
Great stuff for sure.
21:41 lol @ the spider on the camera
Blackie, How do I procure some of this gun butter? And secondly, is this gun butter a good grease to smear on the flat portion of my ’58 Remington cylinder pin?
Thanks.
How can I order this
Great information
WOW, that's great stuff! Holy Hannah! How do I get some of this? I just got 3 muzzleloader rifles. Which revolver do you prefer? Colt or Remington style? Great video!
I appreciate your vids...You may consider changing the name.
Making want to order a black powder revolver lol.
Can you use this on the cylinder pin instead of grease to prevent lock ups on my Remington while shooting several rounds.
Blackie could I use this on my semiautomatic.380 & 9mm handguns?
Will Bore Butter do about the same!
What do you use to clean the gun from the factory?
If you read this I hope you are having a wonderful day 💙✌
U2 😀
Blackie what part of the country are you from?
Alabamie if I'm correct
@@joshuajohnson4396 Actually he,s known as being from L. A. or as we say Lower Alabama
I logged onto the site to purchase a jar of Gun Butter. It's $15, then they added $15 shipping. An item which should ship for less than $5, is costing me $15? Nope. I'm not buying a $30 jar, just to try it out. Sorry, it ain't worth it.
How do I contact this site
what make / model is that revolver?
I believe its a Pietta 1861 Navy. He has a video on it.
Be careful a company already makes a gun oil called gun butter
That gun butter ain't nothing but beeswax and lanolin (sheep's fat) Most people can make it themselves.
