Lucy Jane! I got a clean red plate today and thought of you! I got it from a glowing rad toad in SkyLine Valley, he was in the eastern part of the map above the Hemlock Springs Dump. I was doing the quest for the secret treasure and ran into him on a hill. There were three rad toads and a bunch of turkey's. One had the clean red plate. So if you feel like hunting rad toads....
Although I found mine in skyline valley I've been told and confirmed that you can can get one (I found two) at the overseers house, which is probably easier, but thank you nonetheless lol
I was trying to make a home just like this on a house I was building but I couldn’t figure out how to put the roof in. Thank you so much! I love how you had the open area for the work shop, I had closed mine in and it looked so stuffy.
Clean red plates are sold in whitespring on the farthest end to the right from mall entry. Room with the two robots...the pink robot sells a clean red plate

I'm a fan of Cassie's painting too. Love this farmhouse build! I need to save those catwalks right away in all my camps, I like the look of them.
I really hope we can keep the catwalks!
Knowing Bethesda they made a mistake and they will correct it eventually. I hope that isn't the case with this one.
There's also a book called The Poultry Enthusiasts Guide to Shenandoah that is displayable, it's a note east of Research Site Bavaria on a little wooden lookout. Its smaller than the other one and says "My Diary" on the cover and has a little lock on it, pretty cool item.

Thank you for including the non catwalk version as I only recently purchased mine through Bethesda website. I can’t wait to make this one and tear my old one down and use that stair trick. -DD
I wanted to say thank you for the great videos so I spent a long time today searching for the Clean Red Plate. I scoured every place I could see people mention they found it, but it was never there. Just as I was about to give up, I found one in Marie's vendor inventory in Le Grande Gourmet! I think it doesn't have a single static spawn but can be in a bunch of places unreliably.
FWIW, the 'clean' YELLOW version of the plate is just called "Yellow-Trimmed Plate" and shows up much more often in places.

Great build. I always add a bathroom to my camps but I always end up getting rid of it because of budget.
I found a clean red plate at the overseers house on the dining room table.

@@mattallenclosedforum9505 it was a season reward 2 or 3 seasons ago. You could always contact Bethesda support and ask them
I am sure you are aware but you can double stack that particular fireplace so the study area could have a working fireplace as well and then stack the extension and chimney cap on top.
@@Kasstastr0phy tbh I might take the fireplace out or try something different, it bugs me that it's not symmetrical.

It's not a chimney roof it's the fireplace and chimney that came with the Fire Hazard build set bundle. It snaps into a doorway

How do you place the fort catwalk on the dirt? It won't let me without having them snapped to a floor foundation
I made a blueprint, the same as in my building with Bridge Pieces video. Place 3 catwalks on the first one, place a floor object. Blueprint the floor object and the next 2 catwalks. You can now place them on the ground, you can delete the floor object and you can snap more catwalks to them if you want to
How do you put the cake, glasses and so on on the table?
You place them on a chessboard display which was a reward from last season. You then merge the chessboard into a piece of furniture

Lucy I forgot to add all my walls before adding second floor walls!😢 I added too many and now I can't remove them!
Did you use a stair frame? If so you need to remove all the walls around it. If you mean you can't remove floors, you need to add another staircase and foundation and then remove the original staircase and upper floors and start again
Ugh nevermind I had to remove all the walls and completely redo everything...rewatched this and you did warn me !😅

No, you can use the stair blueprint you've now mastered lol or a stair frame. However, you, like every other player, currently have catwalks. I mention it in the video. There is a new catwalk in the game that is unlocked, probably an error on Bethesda's part
@@LucyJanePlays I tried using my blueprint did not work, I will have to look for these new catwalks tomorrow and see if there available.
They are under miscellaneous in the build menu

When I blueprint two merged items, it won’t let me place it - any tips?
Honestly it depends on what objects they are. Even if you manage to place it 90% of them will unmerge anyway.
If one of the merged items is clipping into the ground it might cause problems.
Usually it won't place on the ground if you merge the top item below the bottom one, but you wouldn't be able to blueprint it
so, what if you don't have those pavilion walls or don't know how to get them
You either watch the entire video or click on more... below the video and pick "30:36 Using pillars and fences if you don't have the Pavilion set" from the chapters list

I like the stair well I use place anywhere walls to get a 1.5 x 2 master bedroom and barhroom in one of my builds worked out really well and made 0.5 wide hallways the video is on my channel if you wanna see it's my moths flame camp
I'll check it out, but I hate using freeplace walls lol
I wish we had half vertical walls, I see you infilled with bookcases, I've done it before with regular merged ones. Tbh I would have just done a floated half offset rather than freeplace but it looks good.

You don't have to listen... A lot of people listen to my videos because they like my voice, you can't keep everyone happy and tbh I don't care what you think🤣
You are correct though, I hadn't noticed. It may be related to one of my 30 serious health problems, I've been over doing it lately so I'm having a break for the next few weeks
