(To clarify, I’m just poking fun.)
In the first ten seconds:
1) Those compressions weren’t nearly hard enough, but it’s ASMR, so you get a pass. What you should do is apply enough pressure to go 1/3 of the depth of their chest. Full disclosure, this could break their ribs, but better broken and bruised than 6 feet under.
2) The compressions we’re too quick. That was like 160 bpm, when you want compressions to be, at the max, 100 bpm. The rule _was_ to sing “Stayin’ Alive” by The Bee Gees, but that’s still a bit too fast.
3) “Hello?” You think if you’re doing compressions, that the patient is awake enough to respond? Check their pulse and, if they don’t have one, continue doing compressions.
Edit: 30 seconds and we got number 4: “I think they’re gone.” Great, you have someone laying on the bed, dying, and you’re first reaction as a doctor/nurse/other medical professional is, “huh, I think they’re dying.”
4.5) The patient is clinically dead (their heart is not pumping blood), other wise you wouldn’t be performing CPR. Of course they are dead/don’t have a pulse. That’s like a firefighter looking at a burning house and saying, “Gee, looks kinda crispy.”
4.75) Ah, yes, the very medical test of “say yes if you can hear me.”
5) Ok, so applying pressure to the collar bone is not a bad idea actually. Only because part of the steps of checking their response is based on what stimuli they respond to, and that not only includes reactions to touch, but also reactions to pain. So, like, 4/10.
6) This guy is straight up talking to a cadaver, which wouldn’t be too weird if there wasn’t someone else in the room that he was literally talking to minutes ago.
7) He checked the patient’s skin temperature? Like, if you put a pan on the hot stove top, and then shut the stove off, the pan is still going to be hot for a little bit afterward. It’s the same idea, but the pan is the body and the stove is the process that fuel the body. Also, the skin? Not internal temp?
8) See 5, but it’s skin pricking. Makes it closer to a 7/10.

You forgot to do the brain scan with the electrodes. But all in all, a pretty accurate experience. Ive worked in a hospital and seen MANY patients die, especially elderly and this seems.. somewhat real to what some doctors do.

Defibrillator is if the heartbeat is irregular, not stopped. Chest compressions are for a stopped heart
@@Shadowheart181chest compressions dont typically get the heart beating again. Its just to help keep the blood pumping so the patient doesnt go braindead before the defibrillator can help.
