I swear they just get better and better throughout the years. I recently had the privilege of seeing them live in ATL and was blown away by the amount of love these two can show for each other on stage. Patrick was constantly setting up Alaina to just blow us all away. I would notice him watching her closely and listening intently. Mid-song he would get up and move the microphone closer to her sit back down and smile...just amazing.

their music hits the intersection of some of my niche experiences in a way other music never has for me. the lyrics about religion, femininity, faith and repression are powerful and the songs are beautiful. such a rare crossover of things i love, and i’m so grateful for it
I saw them live yesterday in San Diego; I remember the first time listening to them religiously was in college, when my journey began in San Diego. I used to do a lot of things alone, as I didnt know many people at the time. Their music brings me back to that feeling, being alone but feeling excited with my life choices. As I close this chapter in my life and prepare to move back in with my family in Los Angeles….seeing them and listening to their songs felt nostalgic. I went to their concert alone, and once again, I knew I made the right choice. I love you Tennis, you give me hope in life.
At a time when 90% of the music on the radio is absolute garbage, it's refreshing to hear a duo that puts out heartfelt, catchy jingles that help bring back some nostalgia and taste to the airwaves.
I am back to watch this performance in its entirety, once more... It's so beautiful. I got my first exposure to Tennis via the song Origins. I have loved them since.
This was perfect. Alaina's gentle vocal blends so well with Patrick's soft bass sounds. Listening to their music is sort of an escape from the chaotic reality in itself and it's interesting to hear what goes into creating their music.
wow I love this. Heard a tune on my local radio station and "shazammed" it. What a discovery! I've always loved music from the olden days because it sound more "live" and less produced... like people getting together in the same physical place and playing together... anyway yeah I'm digging this!!!
The opening sequence was the intro to their song “I Miss That Feeling” from the We Can Die Happy EP from 2017.. I was a bit surprised when they didn’t go into the full song
Just saw you last night at the Wonder Ballroom 2nd show. I want to thank you so much for coming to Portland and especially for the additional performance that I was able to attend. You sound so great live and the band is tight. I am retiring and was in the Navy in my early days. Looking for that Sailboat , wish me Luck. Blessings and great Karma your way Alaina & Patrick Be safe and Have fun
izagrams okay, so we got an update on it lol I tried to tweet to them ab it but they didn’t reply to me lol, but someone else also tweeted them ab it like just a few days ago if I remember correctly and anyways they replied to them and said that they’re just fixing the mix on it and all that, so hopefully it’ll be up soon?? They also said they were actually planning on releasing their songs’ Solo In Stereo version at some point so that’s also something awesome to look forward to!! I would love to have Mean Streets, I Miss That Feeling, and Island Music! :)
i still come back here in 2023. Excited to see you again in April!!! :D
I love their sound with their full band but damn their stripped down sound is amazing.

The love is still there. I saw them last night in Nashville and absolutely loved it. Such an amazing thing to see on stage
Seeing them in March and I’m soooooo excited! I can see the love from here but I can’t wait to feel the beautiful energy in the room 🥰

…you know, these guys are just so real - it’s almost illegal.
I love the opening scene with an instrumental of I Miss That Feeling 🥹
Saw them at the beginning of the year and it’s one of my favorite shows of all time
I love hearing their musical references, like a Carole King piano riff. Never forget the greats that came before us
Reminded me of Laura Nyro
@@adriangutierrez5122 there was a part that reminded me of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard

This version of My Better Self hit the spot really well. REALLY well. 👏👏👏

The instrumentation and the singing work so well together. I’m in love!!!!
