Tune aside, although this song has an outstanding and catchy melody, the main and best thing is the unbelievable truths and joyous certainties of the lyrics. I think that as musically gifted Christians we can be so easily distracted to what really matters and what is the most important; the meaning of the song, not the chord progressions or the cool bridge in it. PLEASE can I encourage you to focus on what matters, but other than that keep praising God, He's amazing, who can stand against us?

Our God is greater than the Bible imagines. Surely a caring God would either take people to heaven or let them cease to exist R.I.P. It would be the duty & responsibility of a creator God to ensure that no one suffered after death. John 6v44 says that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father calls him, surely an ethical God would call everyone, otherwise it would be his fault if anyone was left out. If Jesus won the victory he would switch the default for everyone from hades to heaven

@FrettedFingersMusic i think it depends on the song. i was jammin last week with my friend on the keys & i felt the weight a little bit lifted. but there are some songs that sound fine with just acoustic (i.e. "Change Me" by Jeff Bourque)
From 3:10 to 3:12, Chris Tomlin says "In my mind I could just hear people shouting that out" and that's exactly what happened when they came to Manila! The whole crowd was just shouting that out! @JustRockinMan To not believe in any god means that you have to accept that according to most religions you will not find paradise in the next life. For you to decide that every religion is untrue, then you have to have faith that you're not going to be judged at the end of your life by their god(s). Of all the religions in the world, for you to discount of all of them takes faith in yourself and what you personally percieve to be true.
true but there's nothing wrong with using the capo, Noel Gallagher from Oasis uses it for Wonderwall or even Tom Petty for Free Falling, even The Edge uses it sometimes but you right if we use it too often it most songs sound the same.

@tallliza i agree with you that it is very tragic that people have to suffer such as children in Haiti. but what your not understanding is that God isn't the cause of these things. and although it may seem that God is just sitting there and letting people die, it is simply not true because i have heard of many miraculous events coming from these disasters and God has worked through these hard times.people being found under rubble after 7 days of searching etc. Some of the stories are incredible!
