Thanks for sharing the settings. I just picked up this same kit and it’s on its way, I’m stoked to get some ink down, I’m a graphic designer for a print shop and am stoked to understand printing more.
Thanks for doing this one. I've finalized the shipping on mine so just waiting for the email saying it's on the way. I was stoked to see this coming out and it was not expected. Honestly, they should have sent a combo to more of you screen printers. Some of the xTool laser owners got them and I understand why, but really would've been nice for your perspective to be out there too.
I really love the micros on the frame and the fact that its built off of a linetable press but their different laser cutters/ learning a new software seems like a little bit of a stretch unless you plan on making a variety of stuff with the laser. Awesome video man i feel like these are all the buzz lately so it was nice to see a video from you.
With the laser, make sure after you do the updates to switch away from the (Upload) side of the switch. It’s on the board below the start button aka where you plug in the power/pc cables (that board :-)) if you forget, it will cause jobs to stop mid way.
The screens are suppose to be reusable, they have the same coating as your regular screens. Clean re-coat dry. I have not seen anybody test it out yet.
I just learned about you Great videos man I want to ask when you finish burning the image Should you still spray the screen? I'm curious I want to buy a laser printer But I want it to cut wood for my art but I never knew you can burn your images this part is new to me I appreciate that you show this
Hi! This is Dev from India and you are just great, I have a few questions for you. 1. the mesh used here are pre emulsified so does that mean you do not need to prepare the screen. 2. can i engrave with my 60 watt laser on to the screen and then what should be the ideal setting maybe trial and experiment?
For those who are new to this, Im still new (even though I’m years into the laser industry I own a variety of lasers) and with low wattage diode lasers, be patient. Go slow. It will take some time to master the laser itself and the longer part is running the program.
I am waiting on mine to get here, sadly others are already hands in! :-( anywho… since they only precoat & sell in 100 mesh. I am planning to get 120 and up as needed to explore making mine. And one can do a multi screen job with this, just wont be as fast, maybe one could switch from silk to stainless meshes & burn on the laser & then use on the multi stage system. But since you have one & worked it, what do you think of this idea? Could change the game some if the screen coating process can be similar to standard. Lost to explore with this though!
You mentioned something about a couple of the test designs hadnt cleared with ink? Should they usually? Or you just keep the screen flooded to stop that? Im new to the screen print world.
Thanks for sharing that. Looks like a fail from all aspects and I’ve got a laser that I really like. And since you’ve not updated the video I suspect you also felt it wasn’t worth the time.
I do screen printing...i am gonna do newbies a favor....do your homework on transfers and a heat press..there are screen print transfers also.....much easier then this..... Cause all u need is to heat press for 20 seconds around...
Don’t mean to sound negative but I’ve got to be honest, this looks like a load of shit we don’t need. Like some toy plastic thing. Expensive. Not that much faster. Not reusable. Bad for the environment. E waste is some of the most difficult to recycle. If I was going to spend this much money I would buy a DTG printer.
I think old school is always better. Happy holidays my friend.
Happy holidays!

I'm really looking forward to this thing. I hope we don't have to wait too long for it.
It should not be too long. I got my backer kit email to finalize the shipping three days ago.
I just bought one but still waiting for delivery to Australia
I like your videos good work

❤Thank you for this beautiful video! 🙂❤️Can we de-engrave the screen and reuse any emulsion?

Blessed to have found your channel.
After lasering the screen, did you do anything to clean it? was the "burnt" emulsion fragments every where?

I guess you would store the screens seperately from the frames?
Which of the kits did you buy? the cheapest?

What power laser did you get?
I just learned about you
Great videos man

too much work ill just dtf it
This is such a hassle
My opinion 👎🏾
How about you read instructions before lol
👎👎
as a beginner printer, do you think this is more efficient especially as a FT w4 with 2 under 2 and trying to start my own business 🥲🥲
They REFUSE to support their screen printing XTool use with D1 and will NOT sell extra screens and materials! TOTAL scam!
you can buy more ink and the precoat screen is in preorder...
Extra screens and frames are now for sale on their website.
I just bought some off of xTool website.
I’m selling my Riso Goccopro...this is 10x Cheaper!!✅✅✅
