Yes these are my favorite kind of tiltarella vids
I like the baus cuz he’s goofy but I prefer Tilterella’s Sion because everything is methodical and logical. He maximizes his gold output while also minimizing gold input to the enemies, it’s the exact oppposite of Baus’s strat but the core idea is still the same. Get as much gold from platings and minions.
Agreed, I like the Baus but his play style is very toxic for the team
@@eriknibe6633 Baus is a higher rank on harder(more players) servers. But I don't need the top player to teach me just someone better than me and thats why I'm a long time fan of tilt. Tilt also makes better videos where Baus is a streamer with mostly highlights.
@@eriknibe6633 Baus´s style works because he is always gaining more gold than he gives. League players being toxic dogshit children has nothing to do with his play.
Baus playstyle is better. The only reason bauss has such a bad rep is because he is quite literally bad at the game. He knows his strategy and is certainly above average in normal macro, but he himself said that he would be nowhere near challenger without his strat. If there was someone at challenger level able to execute Bauss strategy to that level of expertise, he would be crazy good in winrate and gold difference.
@@blutwirbel3180 Yet no challenger does baus’s strat for a reason. A lot of people don’t like to play with baus because of his strat. Basically you do good but you piss off your team. Or, you can play good and make your team happy. Theres a reason why more deaths equals higher amounts of losses.
Im not gonna debate with you on what strat is better bc game scenarios vary and the fact its very well known how despised the baus strat is. At this point people accept his playstyle but definitely wont adopt it.

Just a small note on the platings vs kills example. In this game, the shen ult saved kogmaw (your team losing 300+g) and got them a double kill (600g+). So while that money is split amongst them all, and the plating gotten bot lane, you come out on top over Shen, but your bot lane is put almost 1k gold behind from where they'd be without Shen.
that's almost Shen's only strength, and Tilt can't do anything about it. Even if he can, it's better to stick to the top rather than tele bot trying to save bot and might lose a triple kill
But, the kills make them easier to have bounty on their head, platings, on the other hand, doesn't seem to increase that much of the bounty.
@@BachNguyen-pd9tn Oh I'm not saying it was the wrong decision. Just Tilt said they were net positive on gold. And technically true if just looking at lane, but def not as a team.
@@saetharion Yes, usually you should try to play as a team but if you remember the beginning of the game they were already behind, so it made sense that he was going to play as a carry and not as a more frontline support for his team
@@saetharion Plating are not calculated into bounties so that way it was a net loss always to gove free platings as you gain bounties on enemies whilts not losing that much gold urself so ure even on gold but u can cash in a bounty on enemy laner too so you will come out on top

I really respect you talking about the minutae of build order. I play mid (mainly cass) so my first item is usually ROA, but if I'm getting poked out, I go Sapphire for sustain with E. If they burst me, I go ruby. If I have a lead I go Blasting wand. Or if I'm really behind I go Dark Seal and Dorans ring, because it is so gold efficient.

The Q cooldown reset on 3:20 seems scuffed
when you cc sion before his q goes of it reduces the cooldown

As a follow Sion main, I don't think buying health is the best buy against Shen. Its not bad but I would buy bami cinder first.
Better push alone but Shens W does not allow for AA, but bami will burn him every second on his W or when he Taunt us.
After the Sunfire I would build Hulkbreaker for split push, Armor/MR and MS. Just like you did.

Zombie mode means I’m not trying to win the 1v1. That’s just the play style I was doing, brain off mode.
@@Tilterella I'm curious why you didn't go for the regen item if you were wanting sustain, since I think it'd regen more health than just another ruby crystal would give. Was it purely for the demolish?
@@serafina2643 when u look beefy people generally don’t bother trying to gank or kill you. Then you get lane priority and it’s a farm fest

Last Sion I played against as Shen just inted during laning phase because he carelessly died everytime he hit a turret, fed me hard, and when he knocked at our base turrets and eventually our Nexus, being 1/11, no one could kill him ☠️

3:13 how does he gets the Q CD so fast? from 7sec to 2sec CD? its a rune or what? he hits shen with a Q, gets 2sec CD, hits him again and then its 7sec CD. Can someone explain it to me?
he got taunted, so the Q got interrupted. if i understand it right then a Q that's interrupted by CC goes on a shorter cd than one that isnt
It's a Q bug on Sion that has a weird interaction with taunts or charms. you charge your Q and release right before getting cc'd, the system recognizes it as an interruption (if you get interrupted during your Q charge, you get a reset), and allows you to release your Q as well as get the reset. I think Baus talks about it in a few of his videos.

3:16 Did anyone else spot that bug? Maybe its a Sion tech tilt knows about. Idk. But it looks like Sion Q went off just before getting taunted but the game partially refunded his Q cooldown anyway like it would if it had gotten interrupted.
Question is: Was this a 1 time fluke? Or is it a repeatable and exploitable bug with a well timed Q just before getting crowd controlled?

This game kinda shows the delusion drututt has about sion. He wants sion nerfs but basically all that is accomplishing is more boring sion lanes, because when you nerf his early game, sion players will simply try to go even and wait for items. Sion needs buffs, not nerfs so that his laning phase is actually more interactive and that way both top laners can enjoy the laning phase.

Shouldnt you have stayed bot after you took the top tower? Im only higher plat on EU west but thats what I usually do when I get an early tower top.
The games where I can do that I can usually gigga stomp the rest of the game.
