Thank you for this great video! I’m gonna be checking out your luts! I got the vnd mist last week and tried shooting yesterday and I was very disappointed in the major vignetting in the -5! I’ll be trying the other filter at -6! I may not have to return them after all haha! I was able to somewhat correct the vignetting with a light vignette in Lumafusion. I’m glad I found you! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Glad to help out! This lens in particular is tricky to use. With the "Hard stops" you'd think there would be no vignetting issues, but there are some at he higher strengths. Thank you for your support buying my LUT pack as well! Those LUT packs allow me to buy more tech to review for the channel and pay for my web hosting fees! however, I still have something unclear for me: vnd is more equal to ND/PL set or pure ND set?
Hi Keith, great informative video... I have the Air 2s and yesterday was the first time I filmed in D-log. I use DaVinci Resolve 12 but was not to happy or probably skilled with my color grading. I just purchased you LUX package for the Air 2s. I have the Freewell variable ND filters but thinking of maybe exchanging them for the Mist filters. Do you think this would be a smart move? Thank you for the support! I’m a huge fan of the mist vnd filter! I love how it cuts down on the digital noise and still has the nd. If you can live with the downsides of the vnd filters (cross polarization at certain strengths), go for it! Thanks again for the support! Means a lot.
