I’ve only experienced one ego death, after my mom died. Truthfully part of me died with her. I’m somewhat better now, but… I have a hard time comprehending the way I used to think about the world ever since
I got a 30 minute intense nitrous trip through a nasal mask at the dentist's office. I had gotten treated like that several times before, but it was nothing to write home about. This time however, the second they cranked that valve I noticed it's way more intense than usual, either by accident or there was something wrong with the airflow (air and nitrous get mixed together in specific percentages). It was borderline psychedelic, I would hold my eyes closed for the entire operation and I was transported into pretty much another reality. A lot of unexplainable feelings of mystical nature occurred, feelings of immense euphoria and wonder. It felt like I had been there before, where ever I was. I understood I'm high as fuck and actually at the dentists chair, but I strongly felt being outside of my body in a sacred place where time is irrelevant. When I was stung with the numbing needle, it didn't hurt but somehow felt like the needle was forced several meters deep through my gums against the back of my skull. Ridiculous but very specific and weird thoughts popped in my imaginations without trying. I imagined my childhood friend starving so I offered him a slice of baloney sausage, yet my friend politely insisted I keep it to myself cos "it's too much, I don't deserve this slice of ham". I heard the Starcraft 1 Zealot's grunt out of nowhere and there was a sense of profoundness that came with it. LOL. Finally, there was this music, this looping trippy song that ringed in my ears that sounded oddly familiar, as if I had heard it many many times before. I figured it's the radio in the office and kept wondering what the artist was. At point I was even convinced it's definitely a Nirvana song until finally I came to realize there was no radio at the dentist and I was imagining the music altogether.
Bro, I had an ego death on LSD in 2002. It changed my whole life, dictated the course of my life and only last few years it has totally integrated and I have found deep peace with the experience and life.. would love to hear your experience and share mine !

You enter and become a blissful silence that pervades the whole universe. But the conclusion is that you only see what has always been there. Even if you see it or not. It has no meaning for the person except a great story. You don’t achieve anything.. And therefor you can also never lose it.

I had a complete decoupling from my reality, looking at my whole life from the view of a comic book storyboarder writing a new comic, and I designed my every choice. Very profound. Helped me kick some baddies.
My cousin had the exact same condition as yours when he was 7, he spent the first grade in wheelchair. Surgery was successful thankfully and the scar is in the same place as yours. Serious medical interventions in our formative years affect us so intensely for years to come

I find alcohol just juvenile and boring most of the time, it's just the drug the masses take as it's got the government stamp of legal approval and most people don't even consider it a drug because of this. A woman walked past my house the other day as I was smoking a spliff out the front and I heard her say "I smell weed, so unnecessary" to her husband who was lagging behind a bit. I kind of agreed with her as I'm a bit of a self hating pot-head but felt like saying "Yeah, so was that bottle of white you necked last night with Sheila" but I was high so obviously said nothing at all. Speaking of shit drugs, coke is fucking wank. It just made all my mates at parties snake off somewhere to go and huddle in some corner of the house chatting shit to themselves. I mean, if they had fun then good for them but if I'm getting on it I want something that is actually mind altering, coke is just like a strong coffee and it's fucking soulless. The comedowns are fucking horrific too. Nope
Third trip on shrooms today, I’m pretty new. Having a wonderful time healing and growing. Doing a 3.5 gram soon , by far the most I’ll have had. I feel ready to face the challenges. Love this channel!
Heck yeah welcome to the community! I can easily say shrooms has had a massively positive effect on my life, I’ve overcome confidence issues, grown my empathy, changed mental patterns leading to better mental health, and have had a lot of fun. My first 10 times or so tripping were really painful, lots of crying and dealing with trauma, but ever since then I’ve just had a ton of fun. Hiking, paddleboarding, jacuzzi with the stars at night, laughing hysterically with friends, or melting into a warm bed, all enhanced with shrooms :)

I did 3-3.5 my first time and it was great. Season 2 of regular show (excluding ello govner) is the best when tripping, it's definitely the way the show was designed to be watched (watch 2 in the am pm, which is the pilot, for proof).
Hey mate, I'm only 3 minutes in but I wanted to say that I just had a similar experience on 4-ACO-DMT + Cannabis as you did on your first LSD + Cannabis ego death. Although I wouldn't say I had a full ego death, I came very fucking close. I could feel reality pulling me away, into some primal vision creating state. eyes open or closed. I did intense meditation both in bed and in water after gradually taking micro doses every 2 hours. I ended up having to stay up for a long ass time as it's been a full house at home and my wife is newly pregnant so there's just lots of buzz around and things for me to do. Oddly enough, I had such a deep spiritual experience with epiphanies about my own consciousness that I'm beginning to integrate as I type this. I spent a full day just being the person I always wanted to be, and it just fucked worked. and it was amazing. at some points of the day I was able to do chores such as drive around town to get food but at other times immediately after smoking a bowl of cannabis later in the night my brain went into hyperdrive and tried to pull me into an ego death. i was by a fire outside when i looked up at the sky and felt the weight of the universe crashing down upon me as my eyes randomly started REM type movements and pattern shapes appeared in my vision. open or closed. i was staring at the sky feeling as if I was dying. the combination of noise cancelling headphones and glasses (enhancing my vision and simultaneously cutting out the static of the world, making my thoughts louder.) even as i type this i feel it in remembering the experience. sorry for the rant, i still haven't slept after the experience. it's 2pm here and i have been up since 10am yesterday.

2:20 I know exactly what you felt. I had it with shrooms and weed, but it's the same thing. After the trip I was searching online for people who I could relate to for days. It really is one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced.

Liquor was my original addiction, and it's stuck to this day. Meth addiction was easier to shake than alcohol. I've drank to the point of physical dependence several times, and I'm probably at that point again. Meth was easy to kick, you get to a certain point and if you have no money for it for an extended period of time, you just detox and don't even have energy to go looking for money to get more. In fact I got off it by using alcohol. It probably wouldn't be an exaggeration to call alcohol a harder drug than meth. At least aside from the week long meth benders and psychosis
6:50 It's always seemed interesting because alcohol doesn't seem to affect me that way. The one time I got genuinely drunk I had my confidence around girls absolutely tank I felt awkward as fuck. When I get buzzed I just act childish and annoying. The most confidence I feel around girls is after hitting the weights because of all the serotonin. Honestly I think lifting weights is a drug in its own right, you feel this incredible surge of power like some kind of anime character, it's awesome. I'm only really interested in entheogens and maybe marijuana or a beer once in a while, but I've met someone who was much more involved in drug use and parties and he did some curls to failure and he said it was better than drugs. There's no cloudiness of mind and paranoia, only surging power and clarity, sometimes feelings of love I also think social media can be considered a drug and really belongs in take it or leave it, my addiction to youtube has really harmed my life 9:15 I would put cocaine all the way at the bottom because of how horribly destructive it can be for some people, ruining lives. I'd also put any nicotine in the arse tier because of how addictive it is and providing no real benefit 11:44 for me personally caffeine is a gift from god. Not even just coffee but even caffeine pills, it's so energizing as long as you taper off every once in a while to reduce your tolerance. Energy drinks are shit for the body

Man caffeine screws up your sleep. It affects you for too long. Cofee in the morning and can't sleep at night still. But you're right about the gym. People miss it so much. So true.

My tier list goes like this: God their: shrooms, LSD, and alcohol Love it me: nicotine, caffeine, weed, and probably ketamine (haven't tried but seems really fun), nitrous Take it or leave it: DMT maybe (haven't tried, shrooms and LSD are good enough for me), mdma maybe (haven't tried, maybe I will eventually) Be arsed with that: lean and opioid pills, kratom, Xanax and valium (would only ever take them as a trip killer) Fuck that: heroin, meth, and cocaine I've only done weed, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and shrooms myself, but I've looked up enough about the others to have an opinion (apart from mdma, still don't really have an opinion on it, but the come down seems rough)

It's all F*ck that for me except coffee God tier and MDMA God tier. Done everything here except heroin (although yes codeine) oxy, kratom and DMT. I like hearing DMT and Salvia stories but it doesn't seem wise. Maybe DMT. I said MDMA God tier but I haven't had any since about 2007. I haven't used most things here since around them. Mushrooms the last time was 2003. I've had my experiences and they were enough that i'll need. There's no desire to return
Ive tried so far from best to worst: 1. 5-MeO-DMT (absolute best ever, got me out of depression and gave me an enlightening, absolutely necessary for me) 2. Full spectrum CBD/THC (makes me a friendly person and relaxed) 3. Diazepam (Takes my anxieties away immediately, almost never take it but if I need to relaxed, it's my go to) 4. Tramadol (used it as painkiller before I got surgery, and apart from taking away the pain it is quite relaxing) 5. Psilocybin (very relaxing ❤) 6.LSD (its fun, but not my thing really) 7. Ketamine ( Helped me when I had suicidal thoughts, but for me it's too much of mechanical feeling) 8. Xanga (mwehhh, gives mostly visual, more than 5-MeO-DMT but nothing special and the stink is too much) 9. Yopo (disgusting 😂) And well I'm mentally preparing myself for Ayahuasca in these months. It's nice to have this stuff at hand so easily where I live lol
idk what xanga you were smoking, i make it sometimes, and there is very little smell (i use extracted harmalas, not b.caapi). If you breakthrough with it, the smell shouldnt affect you, but you arent me so idk. For yopo suff i used a kuripe, and my nose hurt but it wasnt that bad, but the trip was certainly not that exciting.

I spent a full day just being the person I always wanted to be, and it just fucked worked. and it was amazing. at some points of the day I was able to do chores such as drive around town to get food but at other times immediately after smoking a bowl of cannabis later in the night my brain went into hyperdrive and tried to pull me into an ego death. i was by a fire outside when i looked up at the sky and felt the weight of the universe crashing down upon me as my eyes randomly started REM type movements and pattern shapes appeared in my vision. open or closed. i was staring at the sky feeling as if I was dying. the combination of noise cancelling headphones and glasses (enhancing my vision and simultaneously cutting out the static of the world, making my thoughts louder.) even as i type this i feel it in remembering the experience.
sorry for the rant, i still haven't slept after the experience. it's 2pm here and i have been up since 10am yesterday.

Liquor was my original addiction, and it's stuck to this day. Meth addiction was easier to shake than alcohol. I've drank to the point of physical dependence several times, and I'm probably at that point again. Meth was easy to kick, you get to a certain point and if you have no money for it for an extended period of time, you just detox and don't even have energy to go looking for money to get more. In fact I got off it by using alcohol. It probably wouldn't be an exaggeration to call alcohol a harder drug than meth. At least aside from the week long meth benders and psychosis

6:50 It's always seemed interesting because alcohol doesn't seem to affect me that way. The one time I got genuinely drunk I had my confidence around girls absolutely tank I felt awkward as fuck. When I get buzzed I just act childish and annoying. The most confidence I feel around girls is after hitting the weights because of all the serotonin. Honestly I think lifting weights is a drug in its own right, you feel this incredible surge of power like some kind of anime character, it's awesome. I'm only really interested in entheogens and maybe marijuana or a beer once in a while, but I've met someone who was much more involved in drug use and parties and he did some curls to failure and he said it was better than drugs. There's no cloudiness of mind and paranoia, only surging power and clarity, sometimes feelings of love

Fuck that: heroin, meth, and cocaine
I've only done weed, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and shrooms myself, but I've looked up enough about the others to have an opinion (apart from mdma, still don't really have an opinion on it, but the come down seems rough)

It's all F*ck that for me except coffee God tier and MDMA God tier. Done everything here except heroin (although yes codeine) oxy, kratom and DMT. I like hearing DMT and Salvia stories but it doesn't seem wise. Maybe DMT. I said MDMA God tier but I haven't had any since about 2007. I haven't used most things here since around them. Mushrooms the last time was 2003. I've had my experiences and they were enough that i'll need. There's no desire to return

Ive tried so far from best to worst:
1. 5-MeO-DMT (absolute best ever, got me out of depression and gave me an enlightening, absolutely necessary for me)
2. Full spectrum CBD/THC (makes me a friendly person and relaxed)
3. Diazepam (Takes my anxieties away immediately, almost never take it but if I need to relaxed, it's my go to)
4. Tramadol (used it as painkiller before I got surgery, and apart from taking away the pain it is quite relaxing)
5. Psilocybin (very relaxing ❤)
6.LSD (its fun, but not my thing really)
7. Ketamine ( Helped me when I had suicidal thoughts, but for me it's too much of mechanical feeling)
8. Xanga (mwehhh, gives mostly visual, more than 5-MeO-DMT but nothing special and the stink is too much)
9. Yopo (disgusting 😂)
And well I'm mentally preparing myself for Ayahuasca in these months. It's nice to have this stuff at hand so easily where I live lol
idk what xanga you were smoking, i make it sometimes, and there is very little smell (i use extracted harmalas, not b.caapi). If you breakthrough with it, the smell shouldnt affect you, but you arent me so idk. For yopo suff i used a kuripe, and my nose hurt but it wasnt that bad, but the trip was certainly not that exciting.
