Starting to build my equipment up to respec for this. I’ll have to progress more through Dream of the Strong to unlock some amrita farming areas and then build up my axe proficiency to get the Kintaro set. This seems like the build to run when the DLC comes out.
Just now saw this vid. Mimiced the build. Got a yellow and a missing a piece of the set. The rest is divine. But im loving this build. Its very self sufficient. Dont really need buffs but better to be on the safe side. All time favorite build.
How did you manage to remodel the club into A in stamina and B in strenght. When i remodel to stamina strenght scaling goes to D. There's gotta be something I'm missing here
Press triangle to 'select' one scale option and then before clicking accept, move your highlight/cursor to the other scaling option, then click accept. It basically let's you pick the two best scaling options. :D

Hey fightin, have you tried to make a bomb build? The malefactor set has bomb support and from tinkering with equipment and accessories it seems like you can roll a decent amount of support for bombs on gear too. I was planning on trying it out but I need to farm everything for it first.
is there a build centered around using your bow and or rifle all the time or atleast as much as possible i think it would be pretty cool to be more of a ranged fighter
theres a mid game set that gives some heavy gun bonus' and several armor skills u can roll into to get shots back when u fire, lots of skills in the samurai tree to invest in for ranged damage and more bullets to. Seems pretty good but semi hard to optimize till mid game
Really difficult to optimize to it's full potential due to the skill it requires: for decent damage you have to land head shots or hit the break parts of an enemy.
@@FightinCowboy I am looking at the Axe skill tree right now and it looks like i am right. Not every passive have the "when you have an axe equipped..." text. Check Cornered Boar I-III, Kintaro Kata I-III and Indomitable Spirit I-III. Or am i missing something?
I saw in one of your videos that you unlock the ability to save builds in NG+. I'm still in my first playthrough but I would love to see a guide showing how to save / update / and swap builds.
Farming him in the Hatchet mission is super easy if you have Advancing Storm. He will almost never block it and if you use it well he'll also never get close to you.
Is there a good farm for gaining proficiency with a weapon. I probably going to do all of these builds so if there is any advice you can give me that would be much appreciated!

Perhaps the math is stronger than it seems (depending where it falls in the overall damage calculation) but surely all those points spent for a measly 4% damage boost against Yokai are far better invested in the Axe Mastery skill at the bottom which is a universal buff against everything?
No matter how big you are, no matter how strong you are, no matter if you are the most powerfull creature in the universe. If your opponent turns into a living Beyblade your time is over!!! xD

Samurai you want all the ki pulse related stuff like flux and flux 2 as priority. Shiftling, burst counter related stuff is nice but generally for me the priority would be on all the stuff on the right of the tree, like yokai ability in the yokai realm, reducing cos if the type matches your gaurdian spirit. All that stuff makes constantly mixing yokai abilities into your combos much easier and stronger so I think that's the best part. Other than that some of the green things you can assign to active skills are pretty nice. Masterful slice is probably the best but theres a few other good ones, arcana of lightning on certain rapid hitting skills like hatchets deadly spiral gives you a free lightning status proc without having to put any lighting stuff on your build

And also the other similar buffs, can I use the buff then swap to glaive and keep it? what other buffs overlap/cancel out rage? are there any other buffs good for builds as well? sorry for the basic questions
Thats the annoying part. I think its from dual sword dojo mission or something. So if you dont have much proficiency you have to get that shiet way high to get it.
There's something I don't quite understand. It says you need 33 Dexterity/Skill to activate the relevant Guardian Spirit Protection from Tengen.. And you don't have that. But you still get the protection or how does it work?

Im farming kintaro to make this build for tomorrows dlc but I'm using hanbeis fire blind helm then adding fire to my spin + the ki bonus buff. I defo agree Tengen will always be king but I'm using the boar, might use Tengen for ng++

Seems like when he picks the guardian spirits his requirements are different. Coz even with no points in dex or skill, he was still able to equip tengen kujaku and receive those perks like enemy sensor etc. How is he doing that?
You are able to equip the guardian spirits if you don't have the stats for all the perks, you just don't get that specific perk. So he didn't get the sensor ability from Tengen.
That’s fucking insane. Here I am doing a dual sword poison build and relying on a bunch of damage buffs against poisoned enemies (granted, I have horrible luck tempering) When I could have been a fuckin Beyblade this whole time.

This build is awesome. Played with it all day, didn't die once. The regen coupled with the heavy armor and high damage potential make this a monster.

Axe tree have a lots of passives which are not weapon dependent. In other words they work even if you dont have axe equiped.
This isn't true. Look at the skills, every one of them say ""have an axe equipped as your main weapon"

You're either looking at trees in the original or blind. The skills all say Axe as main weapon.

I typically do the gozuki/mezuki mission. I get around 6000 proficiency per run and a healthy amount of amrtia.

Nah, those boosts are like flat weapon damage. When we're already hitting for 1000+ damage a 1% increase is worth more than a +2 increase.

Bit late to the party but you can upgrade that club to level 170 by soul matching with a 170 soul core for a nice damage increase.

If you don't have your answer yet, it's because he's got Kintaro's axe as his secondary weapon, the weapon is part of the set bonus.

You need to get weapon that has orange inheritable from revenant. Try The Warrior mission on ng+

Also I never thought about trying to spin through pools xD only really got into axe recently as its my late game nioh 1 build I'm doing.
In NG do u focus armour stats first , then Stam to 30s? then Str to 30 then focus HP?
Stam is axe main stat, so dump everytime into Stam unless you need to meet stat requirements

Honda works great with any build where you're boosting a skill.

Yasakani Magatama accessory , it reduces the set bonus requirement by 1.

Because strength and stamina are where you damage comes from and you need the equipment weight
