So I got one, and we can interface box, but not sure what missing but not sure if need all that control, as much as like pattern change... You got any tips on hardware I need ?
Given it has more LEDs and reflectors, I'd certainly think so. While a Freedom IV isn't quite two stacked Liberty II's (I believe the Libby II modules have bigger reflectors than each row of the Freedom IV), it's not far from it.
@@JohCraLights I'm trying to find the best and its come down to the freedom 4 vs the fed sig navigator with quadraflares and the step up fed sig has is that its duo all the way around now I'd love to see a side by side. Hint hint lol.
With my camera (iPhone), those types of videos don't accurately show the brightness. That's due, I assume, to how the camera adjusts itself to prevent washout. I'd say a full Quadraflare Navigator (i. e. no SLRs) is brighter than a Freedom IV, but both are bright enough that I don't think it makes much difference. I'd personally pick the Freedom IV over the Navigator because the Freedom IV is more programmable and modifiable, and has a stouter build.
Put a coloured dome on it and made the flash patterns which light both level as the same time as one big led unit boom you just got yourself a mordern whelen edge 9000 with led
@@JohCraLights Thank you. I dont think Im replicating it properly, but that could just be refresh rate or framerate of the video. Is there a delay or phase setting you used?
It's a WeCan bar, so the patterns are programmable. These were just demo patterns to show the functionality that allows the rows on each module to be independently controlled. While that functionality was introduced prior to the Freedom IV, the vast majority of earlier Freedoms didn't have it.
Super bright bar. Flash patterns kind of mimic the Fedsig navigator bar.
I think I like this more than the Vision SLR. It looks like it puts out a lot more light.
Remember the Delta Ray visor light those were so cool with the triangles A buddy of mine had it on his a POV when I was on the fire department
New York spec! I love it!
Wow that is gorgeous!!!
SICK 🤯👀👍
1:03 seizure mode
I wish these were duo lightheads
They now have a duo model but only the directional modules can be duo. Corners remain single color rows.

WeCan patterns are changed on the computer using the WeCan software. You can download it on Whelen's website here: www.whelen.com/software-downloads/
Is this brighter than the liberty 2

WHY CAN'T WE HAVE A DUAL COLOR EDGE ULTRA FREEDOM IV!? I want one
They have duo inboard modules available, just not corners (yet).
@@JohCraLights really? had no idea.

This vs navigator in brightness can u do a side by side

You've described the original Freedom, which was essentially the LED Edge.
😍
Whats the flashing takedown pattern called in commander?
Double Flash 60

@@Straypuft Is DF 60. Guessing just an fps issue in video that makes it look different.
Do you have arjent light bar ?
Yes. ruclips.net/video/2wiTTF4hq8k/видео.html
@@JohCraLights oh thx I mean arjent bar LAPD style
No. Just the Italian State Police one linked to above.
I dont like it. Too much strobes and disco patterns not emergency pattern

That's an amazing bar
