looking at the same trip for a basic A to B car leaving my 13 MPG V8 Toyota what I like about this car is how basic engine and trans no Turbo no 8 or 10 speed Transmission. yes Nissan CVT is a concern but just need more Trans service more frequent.

I like the Versa as a honest small car that tries the most with what it has. If I was getting it I would probably take off those dealer options as you can get most of them elsewhere and it will shave something off your finance.
On the note of a turbo, funny enough this car goes by the Almera in other markets and it gets a little 3 cylinder 1L turbo that puts out the same power as the 1.6L. It makes the mid range a little better but I would take a 4 cylinder NA over a 3 cylinder turbo that puts out the same power anyway.

Decent review but how do you figure its the "same" engine as the Rio? The fact they have the same displacement doesn't make it the same engine. Also I don't think you ever address the "better than a Forte?" question from the thumbnail.
