Great thanks for this video. Many tractors that have altered key/ignition switches like mine can only be stopped by the lever connected to this solenoid. On the l2600 it is low on the right side to the left of brakes.

Jeffrey, great tip to know. This is the second video of yours I have watched. Both have very good information. Thank you.

Thanks for posting. Similar intermittent issue with a B7800, could pull the solenoid out and it started (pushed finger inside to stop). Replaced the solenoid (needed a 1/4 drive ratchet due to tight clearance on the inside bolt), but it ended up being the inexpensive Start Relay inside the dash to the left of the tach cable.

I'm amazed more people don't remove them and put a pull cable to the manual shut off. The solenoid is a nice safety feature but a pain out in the field or on a sub zero day when it breaks.

Does this problem cause the tractor to not crank at all or does it crank but just not start? I have a no crank issue and have tried everything so far.

Great information, my B2630 won't start, will not turn over but has a buzzing noise in the gauge console. I will try the stop switch to see if I have power to he stop switch.

Also if your battery is dead or weak it will also make the engine run poorly. The engine will act like it has air in the lines.

Thank for the video. I had the same problem with my L3400.
The problem I am having is, getting the push rod from the solenoid lined up with the center hole of the solenoid guide. It there a trick to it?

I just found the problem with my tractor starting and stalling and running poorly. Turns out that the fuel line air bleeder valve had vibrated loose and it was getting air in the line. As soon as I shut the damn valve off, the engine ran perfectly again!!! I've been brush hogging for the past hour, not even a glitch. It was an air in the fuel line issue here. Case closed on this day. 😆🌾☀️

My 1120 D Kubota side by side stopped running,it has a Manuel primer pump on the fuel pump and if you manually pump the fuel into the system it will run momentarily until the fuel you pumped is used up. Any suggestions ?

I just replaced my start-stop solenoid it was not the problem. Anyway read below for what my problem was you won't believe it. I refuse to take it all to the shop. I knew it had to be something simple, and a video on RUclips help me narrow it down, and solve the problem, hallelujah,,, pass this knowledge on. Keep your air release valve on your fuel line shut. They will vibrate loose. The tractor has 4500 hours on it. ,,,, Peace!

Great video but unfortunately it didn’t resolve my issue…. The solenoid was clicking but I removed it anyway to test it…. With it out of the tractor, still plugged in and grounded the solenoid moves when the key is turned on. For some reason I’m not getting fuel to the injectors, I have two of them cracked open at the moment. I think all my safety switches are working properly, since the tractor cranks just fine. As a way of background, I mistakenly ran it out of fuel by leaving the fuel valve off after replacing he filter. I tried bleeding the pump by opening the bleeder on the pump, still nothing. This tractor has never given me any issues… KUBOTA L3940. Help!
