John Deere 4020 synchro shifter bushing replacement
Does this problem cause the tractor to not crank at all or does it crank but just not start? I have a no crank issue and have tried everything so far.
keep it short keep it simple cheers fella
My rancher 50 did the same thing. I got those same parts in for it
Jeffrey, Thank you SOOO MUCH for posting. You saved me so much frustration, heck, you may have even prevented a second heart attack.😂 God Bless Brother
I have a u17 mini excavator and this help me out thank you sir
I'm amazed more people don't remove them and put a pull cable to the manual shut off. The solenoid is a nice safety feature but a pain out in the field or on a sub zero day when it breaks.
Exactly what happened to me , thanks for the help !
You saved me a lot of time. Thank you!!
Also if your battery is dead or weak it will also make the engine run poorly. The engine will act like it has air in the lines.
You said "Hopefully this helps someone"? Well, if I was close to your location, I'd make a special trip by there just to hug your neck! I've been screwing with my rear drivers side door so long to the point that my family's ready to move out or shoot me, whichever one would relieve the suffering I've put them through for the last several hours!! Thank you so much for having the patience & taking the time to share it on RUclips!!
Great thanks for this video. Many tractors that have altered key/ignition switches like mine can only be stopped by the lever connected to this solenoid. On the l2600 it is low on the right side to the left of brakes.
Perfect, straight to the point, worked a treat 👍
This video saved my ass to get the door open when the cable came loose from the latch. Thank you more than you know!
nice I saw videos on how to do this with f150's but the latch is different. thank you
It worked in less than 5 minutes!!! Thank you for posting your Video Sir.
Thanks so much for posting this. Had my cable pull out when I was trying to open it manually. Spent entirely too long just trying to get bottom latch open. There's a hook video on RUclips showing how to open but I couldn't get it to work. Went searching more and found your method that worked within 5 minutes of fumbling Thanks again for posting your work around fix.
Little Buddy is really an over designed heater favoring unrealistic safety issues that can be impossible to recover from vs actually functiing as a heater.
Great video. Thanks.
This video really help me out. Found a husky 51 out by someone’s trash. I put a new piston and cylinder on it but it still wouldn’t run. I adjusted the carb and it fired right up. Thanks
So glad I saw your video! I thought it’d be a hell of a lot worse. Did some painting and took all the used supplies, buckets to the dump and most of it ended up on the outside of the tailgate. Thank you!!! Gonna give a shot tomorrow!
Did it help?
Perfect starting point. Thank you!
THANK YOU, mine came off and this helped!
Thank you.
Great video
Thanks for posting. Similar intermittent issue with a B7800, could pull the solenoid out and it started (pushed finger inside to stop). Replaced the solenoid (needed a 1/4 drive ratchet due to tight clearance on the inside bolt), but it ended up being the inexpensive Start Relay inside the dash to the left of the tach cable.
Followed your direction and boom , fired right up running smooth and ready to fine tweak. Thanks you from The Isle of Man for a straight to the point video
Great video but unfortunately it didn’t resolve my issue…. The solenoid was clicking but I removed it anyway to test it…. With it out of the tractor, still plugged in and grounded the solenoid moves when the key is turned on. For some reason I’m not getting fuel to the injectors, I have two of them cracked open at the moment. I think all my safety switches are working properly, since the tractor cranks just fine. As a way of background, I mistakenly ran it out of fuel by leaving the fuel valve off after replacing he filter. I tried bleeding the pump by opening the bleeder on the pump, still nothing. This tractor has never given me any issues… KUBOTA L3940. Help!
Thank you. A little tweak here and a little releasing the ON button slowly and it works now.
Great video, I have a L35 but procedure was the same
The best damn repair video made on a Kabota staring problem. Thank you sir.
Thank you
Good video of this issue, thank you for helping us with this 👍
THANK YOU!! We've been fighting that devil all afternoon, finally got it thanks to your help. Tried the allen wrench, couldn't quite get it but used a hook tool (usually used for removing O rings) for a little extra reach and away she went.
Thank you for your video. I took mine apart and I cleaned everything and used some canned air. Letting out the pilot button slowly was the Clincher. Really appreciate you.
Great video my cable broke on bottom latch. I glad find your video before I try fix it. Thank you.
That's a real mechanical engineer. That's a good idea. I fixed my own cables with the new ends. But that's a good idea if the whole cable is bad. I would make a loop and try to hold both lines with the washers if you can, it might get loose with time and use. And you might have to go through the trouble to open the door. You know they sell the cables with the latches in Amazon but they come with the plastic post deal; meaning, it will break again. Thanks for sharing!
I got the plastics off and it won't open. Hopefully with this trick I got it open. My 99' has two of these things; up and down. Thanks for sharing this...
Is it just mind that doesn’t last more than one hour per propane tank?
Lord have mercy...hope I can take a2nd shot at this and get it to open ..thanks a million sir...I do appreciate it...bc like u there isn't hard jack squat on this issue ...God blessed me with this video..thanks 👍
Great tip since you can't see s---t down there
Clockwise increased the idle.
I find the impinged on mine cloges up and once I cleaned it it with some rubbing alcohol it seemed to work much better. The impinged is in the metal tubing that supplies the gas. Thanks for the video. 👍👍
Thank you very much for this video it's dead of winter and my little buddy quit working I simply let the red button out slowly and the flame caught
My problem is it lights fine but after about 60 seconds it starts groaning then shuts the flame off but not the propane.
My 1120 D Kubota side by side stopped running,it has a Manuel primer pump on the fuel pump and if you manually pump the fuel into the system it will run momentarily until the fuel you pumped is used up. Any suggestions ?
Thanks
Gracias
Jeffrey, great tip to know. This is the second video of yours I have watched. Both have very good information. Thank you.
Mine was the thermocouple. Replaced it from one I got from Tess tools. Works like new now.
