I think the PS is closer to 500 and id say the TRX took this one, anything longer than 330 and it wouldn’t had the the PS. It wasn’t as big of a difference as you’d think, I’m sure that powerstroke is way cheaper than the TRX so for what it is it honestly held up nicely. Now when you get that Plati up and going, then we will have ourselves a true ass kickin🤣
There’s no way that powerstroke makes 580 hp. They only come from the factory with 400 hp and that’s not even at the wheels! That’s probably why it lost the 40 roll while it won the dig because of the torque…
It's tuned tho, hot tunes are around 200hp obviously probably not accurate till you put it on a dyno but you'd be surprised I got what's called a tow tune like 40-80 hp depending who's tunes and it is wayyyy faster than stock, if you floor it going 60 it still spins tires
Now it's time for a bigger turbo upgrade in that single cab and I hope you get your platinum fixed you'll probably need to upgrade the transmission on both trucks when upgrading to way bigger turbos because that's why your platinum had issues because my uncle has the same exact truck and he Upgraded his turbo to a 68mm because he couldn't go too big without having to upgrade the transmission so he just went the a 68mm for now!
The Ford had the jump on that last dig. If it was a completely even start for both vehicles no driver error/lag the TRX wins that last dig or at least ties the ford. Should have done another one. Fun to watch. 👍
My Single Cab junk 6.4 will put the rear sideways at 40mph, 50 still breaks them loose with wider tires where you getting these horse power numbers from 😆 if you come to Phoenix hit me up
Just to help you out some… you can keep the 6.7 truck in drive, and Minus out the gears. Lock it into 2nd while rolling hold the break built up the boost and go ahead and open the gears back up then when you launch it will be in the right gear and it will shift for you
Not sure where you got the idea that those two were comparable in terms of HP. Even with a solid DPF-off off-road tune, that Powerstroke is probably closer to 500 or 550 hp. Then it has to weigh a solid 1000# or better more than that Ram. Nowhere close to a reasonable match up. Fun to do, for sure, but this is apples and hand grenades.
TRX has an 8 speed trans vs the PS having a 6 speed which would make a huge difference! Put one of the new PS with the 10 speed trans and see what happens.
I'd like to line up my LLY Duramax next to both of those trucks. Just for science lol no clue how it would do but I know it's fast for a 4door long bed. Not stock though at all.
I think the trx tops out at like 115 couse it’s govnered couse I beat one in my 4 door 6.7 we took of at 75 an the trx was the front door ahead until after 120 I started pulling slowly

I think a TRX won this to be fair. All day any day it's gonna walk the 7.3. might wanna do a redo. A short video of the dig races. That way you can determine the winner of that one. And also time the 0-60 as well in both trucks. I'm sure that 7.3 is somewhere in the 4s lol
If the TRX would have brought the rpm’s up to about 2200 on the dig he would blow that diesel out of the water. I have both. Two Completely Opposite trucks

Do you know the reason why that Ford lost thise three races? It's not because of the weight of it or the amount of torque from that Powerstroke. It's because of thirds gear ratio. It's not meant to go drag racing on a street. It was designed to haul heavy weights. Do you want to have a drag truck? You need a company that specializes in changing ratios within thst transmissionz especially thst third gear. This hindered acceleration of thst truck. As you possibly know, I'm a Ford person. I was since i was a teenager in the second grade of high school. That was in 1982. Yes, I'm about to have my 56th birthday. That's what you need to do to win against that Ram truck.
That 2011 has about 480whp on a max effort tune. They have much smaller turbos and push less fuel than the 15+ trucks 6.7s.

Impressive a stock turbo 11 6.7 even gave a fight against that trx, pretty impressive.
The VGT turbo is way to small (48mm) and is only good from 700-3000rpm. Non-VGT S366 (66mm) definitely brings the full potential of the 6.7.
Especially considering the fact that the F350 6.7 weighs nearly 1.5x of the TRX.

Get a BD performance shift solenoid it’ll shift wayyyy smoother! Did it on 2012 6.7 and it made a huge difference on the shifts

Build the trans and put a smaller charger like a 64 and run them again.
Get a 2024 F-250 (fully delete it and put some crazy tune on it) and I guarantee it’ll be way closer.
