    Did all of this with mine. I've tried two different tapes and it just does not hold in the bracket. The bracket comes loose from the glass. The glass also seems thicker than oem because the felt trims are way tighter it seems. Which causes it to come loose. Looking for ideas.

    Thanks for explaining or showing absolutely nothing in regards to everything. Great help👍

      Do you have a question? We showed the entire process from start to finish. It's a pretty straight forward job.

      Agree. That was pretty useless as an instructional video

    Have you had any issue with the window switch? Did you install an automatic window switch?

      This blazer has a power window from the factory. The only issue I have had with it is the drive cable snapped so I installed a new one and put in a new motor for good measure. If you're having issues with the switch, check the harness that comes out of the firewall. Sometimes it can work itself loose.

    What did you put into the channel of the window bracket to secure the glass to the bracket?

    • @motortopiaondemand
      @motortopiaondemand  3 года назад

      We used glass setting tape. Check out 3:10 of this video where we cover what to get for the channel.

    So on the back window channel on the bottom of the back window . You put the rubberize tape in the channel , set the glass I. There and it will hold it ? Is that correct ? No glueing the glass in the channel

      @motortopiaondemand  2 года назад

      Yes, that is correct. There is no glue or silicon used. Only the glass setting tape. I ordered mine from Classic Parts. I would recommend getting the 3 sizes they have available in since the thickness of the glass and width of the regulator channel will vary.

    Can you do this at regular speed and time so we can see all the parts layout. Thanks.

    Great 'to the points " video! Thank you and don't listen to the nay-sayers. On a side note, are your seat belts original or after market? Having a hard time finding something I can live with. Tia, Roland

    Example of how NOT to provide an instructional video.

      @@motortopiaondemandWell, you did "show" the process... sort of. You showed a camera view which was too far away from any work with no narration which may have helped but the worst was, it was all Fast forwarded through. Might has well not have even posted it.
