How about if you already setup your new phone with hours of work and now you want to transfer your text messages from the old for example? How can you invoke that "get started" step from a phone already running?
What about WhatsApp??? I thought it was essential to first ensure things like WhatsApp messages are been backed up - in my case to Google Drive and then on new phone download those Whatsapp messages to the bew phone from Google Drive. Likewise backing up and downliading SMS messages
Does browsing history and browser tabs carry over? What about downloaded videos? Does this work for non google apps? Last time i switched phones podcast addict downloads didn't carry over.

Im already using the new phone and past the setup process. Do i have to do a factory reset to start the process again?

If you don't have anything new important things that you've done yet in your new phone.

Only works on Samsung.
After an hour the phone complained it was low on power and nothing transferred. Annoying to go from Samsung to Pixel
