Put you on pause when I had been up in the night. Now my real morning and want to let you know the inner joy you have has been so good for me. I liked all the journaling cards you made “without thinking”. And “boom”! Thanks a giant bunch!!!✌️❤️🇨🇦🙏
I have been your sub for only a few months and am mildly shocked that you are a senior because in my mind you were about in your 40’s. young voice and attitude! You go girl! I’m 73 and in my mind in my 50’s. journaling keeps me young!✌️❤️🇨🇦🙏
I'm so glad I found this video Mrs. Gayle. Luv this project for book pages. You know I'm going back thru and watching all of your older videos as well as current, lol. This Rachel project from Roxy Creations is so dang cute. TFS and crafty hugs.
Watching your videos gives me inspiration- hope and so much more. Please keep your videos to an hour. I know you may not see this comment because this is an older video but that’s okay. ❤️
I paused at 22.15 to check my kitchen cupboards when I realized you were using a kitchen roll ripper. No luck, I can' believe I have been throwing these things away. Best idea I have seen for recycling in a while. TFS
I made a tear strip/“ruler” from the parchment paper box and glued on 2 layers of card stock to each side to make it stiffer and works better to tear paper.
Hi Gayle🌻🎃⭐️ I love the way you mixed media transformed some of your older tags with Tim Holts people shapes! You really are such a fun, creative lady, and I love your channel!⭐️🎃🌻
If you are putting your printer setting at 8x10 change it to letter. this helped me so now I can print most with no border. I know it works with the digis I have purchased.
Hello Gayle had a bad night tonight could not sleep. I had my stomach sickness I get once in a while. Just wanted you to know that you and I have hung out together tonight Thanks for being there for me. 🤗🤗. Now I’m off to my craft room to make some of those goodies I watched you make. I loved your boho ephemera. Makes me jealous and the estate haul was amazing. Well have a wonderful day. Love ya.
Love your videos Gayle.. So inspiring. Now I need to get busy gluing..I’m from Montana, pretty much been across the state. Started out In Eastern Montana, then Western, then Billings, and back to western, Charlo, Montana. Love the State and miss it, especially the mountains!! Have a blessed evening. Shirley
Love hearing you live on the wild side eating popcorn for lunch. In the summer time my hubby and I sometimes have banana splits! All you gals do such a great job keeping us in ideas, thanks!
Journal making is a bit like cooking. You start with the main ingredient. You add to the mix with flavor enhancing goodness and there is a yummy result. Except the “leftovers” from journal creating don’t grow green hairy mold in the refrigerator. Love and hugs from Louisiana
No "himmin and hawin" with these journal cards gayle!! you were like a machine cranking these out-love em! hope the movie date was fun-and popcorn, yum.
I’m participating in the 100 Day Project and am working on a vintage altered book, inspired by your videos. Using a medieval theme. Something different for me. Thank you forgetting my creative juices flowing!
Oh Gayle you make my day, I've been having a few personal issues that has stopped me from being able to craft but I've still been watching you daily and just love your Christmas work lately, beautiful as always thank you Gayle xx💞
The Roxy Creations flip out thing...is officially called a gate fold in the stationary world. The more you know lol. Thanks so much for the video, I'm Loving this whole book project!
When printing click advanced settings in your printer options and click on fill page, or what I do sometimes is click on different paper sizes too. You can also preview your picture before you print it out to see if you have fill your page. I do remove the boarder off my page. Power Point has it when you can adjust your colors too. Love the new pocket, thanks for the tutorial. 😀👍
Wow Gayle once you get going your on a roll, love these and such great use of our scraps. I need to get some of Rachel's straw paper it looks very interesting. Tfs Hope you had fun at the movies.
Well that’s designer tearing if ever I saw it!!!!! You are going to have to get as fast as doing these, as you can when you do your fabric flips for your Etsy shop, cos all 21,000 of us would love one!!!! LOL. Wonderful video as always, TFS. 😻x
Hi Gayle. Love the journalcards. The logical brain and the creative brain are at oposite sites of the head so creative things work better from intuition. You just proces that. 😁😘 That gatewaycard, gorgious.
awesome pages and cards. I love how you can laugh at yourself, you have such a great attitude. I lived in Great Falls for 8 months rebuilding their cable system many years ago. I Love Montana Very Much.
I love watching both you and Roxy Creations. I have learned so much from both. I have a book page pocket I made and keep thinking it needs something - when you put the stamp with the long tail bird I had an aha moment! I like the idea of the assembly line collage. Will try that next. Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I am watching your videos more than once and i must say that hearing you speak of going to the movies, no talk of that dreaded virus, it's so refreshing. Not because you talk about it but because this was pre-covid times, we were still innocently oblivious...sigh
Love your collage style. I struggle with collage sometimes and I like your approach of not over thinking it. Thank you for another great video. I look forward to watching your channel everyday.
Just discovered you and your channel, really enjoyed this crafting style which is new to me...we also went to see the avengers movie on Monday, half price Mondays here in the U.K. in this cinema chain and like you since retiring we do weekend stuff during the week 😂, look forward to seeing more of your videos
Hi, Gayle! Enjoying these altered book videos. Would love to get my papers out and jump in but I had shoulder surgery on Mon. and can't do a thing. I fell in Feb and had a full thickness tear of a tendon in my rotator cuff. I remember when you had surgery last year. I am now home bound for about six weeks. Argh....pretty painful, my sling looks a lot like something Iron Man would have! Saw the Avengers movie - it is really good, you will like it! Love your new digitals!
Gail as usual I enjoyed the entire process you always make it so much fun! I love everything you did today! Have fun on your date with the hubby!! Hope he's feeling better. Wuvs ya tons!!! ❤xo💜xo💙xo💛xo💖xo💚
Awesome ephemera! I think too much! LOL I just finished a journal and made a "Rachael" gate fold piece for the front inside cover of the book and a "Tracie" botanical envelope for the back inside cover! I must be starting to think like you...! (That's a good thing)!
I enjoyed this video as always, but I'm the one behind the times.... I am trying my hand at the bag journals a that you made for your retreat..Not sure they are sell-able, but I sure had fun!!! Please keep making your fabric flips. I want to send them to some of my crafting friends. Not to mention I am collecting more than my fair share of them.... They are so pretty I can't help it!!!!
The bag journals are definitely sell-able. I used to sell them all the time in my Etsy! Just haven’t made them in awhile...thanks for the reminder! Maybe need to make some for the shop! ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct I think you need more for your shop! I managed to get three done tonight. Will let you know if I decide to try to sell them. Thank you for your encouragement!!!
I feel like we are so much alike. I relate to so much you talk about. I love super hero movies and there’s nothing like movie theater popcorn. Extra butter please!
I'm kind of new to your channel, so I don't know what your fabric flips are, but I will check out your Etsy. I find myself talking to you while watching your videos. My husband thinks I'm crazy. Ha! Thank you for sharing your talent!
I will do a video here soon with all the things I’ll be listing, including the fabric flips. My Fabric flips are fabric collages to adhere at the top of the page and then they flip up for journaling underneath. Thanks for your interest! ❤️
Love your videos. My laser printer prints with a border also. I actually called the company about it to see if there was a way to get a full print and they said no. That is just the way this model was made. Yours may be the same. It may not be you but the printer. TFS!
Good Morning Gail I’ve not missed one video of this book !I’m in love and going to find a book today at our local goodwill ( wish me luck ) after the video of course ! Hugs 🤗
My 12 year old son went today, ( got my brother to take him and his cousin) he said the same. Black panther was his fav but that is changed today. Im totally not in to that kind of movie and than for 3 hours!!!🤤🤤 Btw Gayle, love your book and the collage you did here😍.
I have been watching all the videos on ff, 1.5 or 2. Can still catch all the stuff, but in half the time, lol. Can skip ahead past glueing & sewing parts too. :) Double tap on my screen in 10sec, 3 taps 20, etc. Just an fyi. :) These are great, fun & pretty! Fast too with everything "pre-ripped". Lol Hope you enjoyed your movie! :)
Just really enjoying this series! I am getting ready to do my own !!! Ok, Gayle, the suspense is killing me - what and when are you putting items in your shop? I have only been successful one time in getting something from your shop - I guess I am too slow!!!
😂. I’ll do a video before hand showing what will go in the shop! Thanks for your interest! I have a few different things to list this time....from my mixed media days. Stay tuned....probably will list Sunday.....but you’ll see the video then know for sure! ❤️
You know that great idea you had about printing a collage sheet on labels? I never see you use those labels. They would look great on cards like this. I did print on some address labels, but I'm also going to print one on file folder labels. I think they would make cute little accents to my collage. I found that I play a little game while watching you work -- every time you throw something in the trash, I yell, "Trash!" You do it so infrequently that it wouldn't make a good drinking game, though. :-)
My new favorite show is “Late Night with Gayle” 😍 Just absolutely love your videos and so appreciate all that you share. I’ve been collecting materials and want to start my first journal, but am nervous about the cover... I have lots of file folders - any suggestions? Also, do you show these finished journal cards in another video? Thanks!
Hi Susan! I did a whole series with this journal, so you’ll see the cards throughout the process. As far as your cover goes, I have lots of tutorials on covers. If you search Gayle Agostinelli journal cover, you should find something that would help you. ❤️
Gayle, have you seen Andreas cardboard journaling cards? They are awesome! Similar to these ones, I just watched her and I’m going to make some of them also! Artie maze
