This was a really incredibly well done review. I would have loved to see a look at the Expert RAW application as well because it seems to be even better than the regular pro mode in the camera.
Samsung should have given camera module like S 22 ultra to its all phones. 2) there should be 32 megapixel selfie camera in the phone 3) all phones should have given 45 watt fast charging.
Agree for sure that all phones should have been given the 45W... Decisions like that - to not include it - for the S22 standard - seem like purely money grab strategy on their part. I'm not sure who would pay $200 extra just for the extra wattage for charging so it seems like a dumb strategy either way. I ordered the S22, but I am frustrated by their decision. *shrug
I actually think it's because I recorded it in 30fps and the timeline I edited the video was in 24fps, it didnt look choppy on the phone when I reviewed in the gallery

Great review! Base S22 seems a good buy especially as cameras are the same as the plus model. The S22 further makes me question why Google can't put 3 cameras into a 6.1 inch body.
I'm impressed on the quality out of the box. Usually Samsung takes a couple of months and updates to make the camera really shine. Looking forward to this...
I surprised myself with its night photography. It's really amazing, however I expect a bit more detailing in its standard pics in daylight. Selfies are brilliant though

I have to upgrade My S10 plus My Main concern Camera. Best buy US They are giving 200$ gift voucher on S22plus and S22ultra there is price gap of 200$ in both phone . When you transfer the video to RUclips, the quality of the video decreases, so I see that the camera is not good because the quality of the video in RUclips is not enough to decide whether to buy the phone or not.
I'm new here and you did a fantastic job with the s22+ camera. Do you cellphone photography in your regular? Also do you have videos on editing cellphone photos such as the s22? I use the s10plus but thinking of upgrading. Also,I'm new here!!!
I'm so hoping the cameras and display on the Ultra are not so superior to the plus, really don't want a massive boxy phone with a curved screen! And the unboxing experience on flagships these days is so disappointing to that of my Note 9 - it was like, wait, there's more....it came with 2 silicone cases, obviously a brick charger, Dex, a tripod, and a wireless charger. And a voucher for accessories too! And over 24 months, not like the 36 of today, but you still only get the 24 month warrenty! Think we are being royally ripped off these days....
Lets hope S22 does a better job with Slow mo compared to S20 and S21, because of of those (with Exynos SoC) stuttered so badly, the output was completely embarrassing. At one occasion, I filmed using Slow-Mo, a friend running and jumping high into a pool. The scene and framing was great, sunny day, but the output was stuttering so bad. One of my buddies took out a 3-4 years old iPhone, and performed a flawless slowmo shot without ANY issues. I didn't know where to burry myself.

Questions: 1) does the video camera still prevent you from using anything but the main lens in 60fps modes? 2) are there any modes (besides hyperlapse, which you mentioned) which prevent you from using anything but the main lens? 3) does normal video still drop frames like crazy when simply panning around to different light/exposure conditions? (it's easily possible to get the average fps of a video to drop to ~28 on the S20+ by simply panning back and forth between a darker spot and a brighter spot)

I feel if they should be giving 512GB on the S22+ since there isn't micro SD card slot, I and if Samsung could you could pay a little extra for the headphone jack and SD card slot, I think other people would pay a little extra for those two necessities
So this is a trash phone and it worth never 1000 Euro. Compare to my S9 + is the S22 plus a really trash phone. Newer means not better. And why you mention the Ultra? The S22 plus is the topic.
What was your battery life at when you started using the camera and then when you were finished? How fast would you say the battery drains shooting photo/videos?
I don't know the exact numbers but I think I started at around 90% and when I was done with the shoot it was still at like 60-70%. The battery life is pretty good!

why do all the video pan shots look incredibly choppy? Is it because of very small shutter angle and can this issue be rectified?

I don't think you can but you can use Pro Mode using all the cameras so it should be very similar
