Holy Cow! Holy Goat or Holy Sting(ray)! This is simply amazing and so very exciting! Beautiful colors, gorgeous leather! Super-love the content. Appreciate you taking us on this trip, Robert! 🙌🏼
Great video. Thanks for showing us the workshop! Lucas de Stael are just beautiful glasses 😎 (So excited to get my new goat leather pair - can't wait!)
What a great video. And congratulations on your car purchase. I would love to be able to design my own glasses. Side shields would be a must for sunglasses and stone, of course. I wish!
That would be cool! Email us at hello@thespectaclefactory.com if you're interested in ordering a pair, alternatively, you can book a virtual style consultation with Rob and he'll help you choose the perfect pair. -Haleemah
Thank you so much! This was a facinating video, and it definitely illuminated some really interesting points about luxury eyewear. I love the artistry. I'm curious if you have any thougts about the Web brand of eyewear from Marcolin. I recently picked up a pair, but I don't know what to expect long -term.

@Robert Is it worth buying Louis Vuitton Sunglasses? I was looking for one called the Clockwise Canvas . But I am a bit confused regarding the durability and make of the same.
I do enjoy factory tours (more of these videos in the future will be good!) and it’s interesting to see what goes on in the making of these frames, the craftsmanship is undeniable but I fall into camp that just don’t get them. Personally I couldn’t care less for leather or stone as materials for glass frames.
Woow I found 2 retailers in San Francisco and 1 in San Rafael where I live, 7 mins of driving. I had business 2 doors down from them... I will definitely go and check them out.
Being that its made of stone, is there any concern with it cracking? Its such a weird concept for me to wrap me head around...having such a thin layer of stone that's flexible but doesn't crack!
I would always ‘qualify’ something by saying ‘among the best’ - never ‘THE’ best - as there may yet be a small maker somewhere else you have not come across who may be better….and so on….and on them specifically, I have no doubt about the quality, but they don’t appear to be anything outstanding design wise (aesthetically - I understand that ‘design’ can also refer to the design of hinges, or nose bridge hardware etc.)
Making glasses in leather in an attempt to garner pretentious praise, nothing particularly exciting there, the fact that people give praise seems to be a bit of whimsy. The overall frame style is very ordinary. Like your contribution and style though.
@@thespectaclefactory I do appreciate the inherent beauty of some natural materials, but not particularly in every instance of their utilisation. I do like watching your presentation though.
If you mean the ones I brought back from Paris, they are called the Petrus series - they are exclusively available through us and we ship all over the world! E-mail us at hello@thespectaclefactory if you are interested!

Great video, Robert. I think that the patina is the best part of the spectacles- gives it individuality and makes it more 'yours'.

It looks great! Was wondering how does the materials for stone and leather fair when washed under tap or gone through rain?
What a great video! Thank you for sharing the experience.
Hmm.... How about gentle monster black peter??
Stunning stuff! Which model is the stone/stone one you show first out of the four?
You should get a tour of Cartier in france.

What Lucas De Steale glasses would suit me ? 😍😍
I wonder what takes Hermes so long to see the synergy with this brand?! it seems like such a great match.
Sam Bridges glasses in the back yoooo... Never thought they're real
You need to introduce what watch you are wearing in each episode.
😅 love it!
I'm enjoying your video in Korea. Do you know the brand of the Aviator Glasses Frame that Samuel Jackson wears at the Marvel Secret Invasion?

I think he rated them “very good” on his tier list video - might be a good place to get some advice 😊
@@emmavnn_ I went through that video again . Could not find Louis Vuitton there
@@akashsuresh4068 oh sorry, yeah it’s not in the main video but someone asked about it in the comments ☺️

Good but I am in the US. How would I buy these? And it would be nice to try before buying.
