His Norton Perreira with the bi colour tint in blue and rose and the J F Rey Carbon Wood with photofusion brown paired with flash ruby are both absolutely awesome pairs. I also love His Walter and Herbert 'Cook' pair. Brilliant vlog! Love your insights. However, there needs to be less about aesthetics and more about technical aspects. Glasses are not fashion statements first and foremost they serve a purpose. I'm not discounting style God knows I'm all about them looking good. They must be practical!
it's a really good idea, was fun to watch, but a bit disappointing that basically ''rayban - all bad, brands we sell - fantastic, unique, wonderful'' :) Quite bias, but still enjoyed this video idea, should do more. PS when people buy glasses it's not always just about quality, people like style, hell even brand name means a lot, so that's why raybans and other famous brands..
They sell what they sell because they know they are quality. Before making such a comment, educate yourself. Don’t let your obvious ignorance determine your opinion of people with obvious knowledge. Do the work.
I share your cynicism regarding bias; which to some degree is inevitable. However, I'd mention a couple of mitigating factors in this case and on this point. One is that they also speak well and very highly of brands that they don't sell, such as Jacques Marie Mage. Another is that they don't merely trash the Luxotica family (RayBan), but talk about alternatives and explain why they're better. I owned a *ton* of RB before watching these and can tell you that alternatives they've mentioned that are both higher (Barton Perreira) and lower (Gast) cost are immediately and obviously far superior, while giving the same aesthetic. Also, given that Luxotica dominates the market so thoroughly, it's probably useful to have such a strongly stated anti- message available.
@@RT-ol4hh Find me ONE sales person who will say that the stuff they sell is worse than someone else's stuff..You think people who sell raybans will say ''yea, these are wack, man, don'tt buy em' low quality etc. Buy those other glasses we don't sell'' Telling me to educate myself while you sound like you don't realize the most basic of things.
@@terrorsquadlith oh puh-lease! Read about the crap Luxottica produces versus other non-Luxottica luxury brands and you’ll quickly realize how way off base you are. There is a huuge difference between knowledgeable professionals like these fellas versus a 20 year old gen Zer at the local sunglass hut who doesn’t know more than what TikTok tells he/she/them/xe to believe. I think you need to circle back to your original premise and do some heavy lifting to get the work done. Thank you for reading. I wish you great happiness and much success in all that you do. @@snaxcooks2098 yea lol pretty much no chance buying them online directly from them, best bet is visiting their actual stores or buying them online from somewhere like eBay
We can suggest some perfect frames for tinted lenses - email us via hello@thespectaclefactory.com and we'll hook you up
I know you don't like Luxottica, but what about the Ferrari brand I think Ray Band makes, I think it is totally different, like Mclaren or Porsche?
I really like Adam's collection tbf
The Barton Perreira (Norton) are fantastic. What’s their reference?
That's the reference! You can order the Norton through us, with prescription lenses and/or custom tint if you like?
@@thespectaclefactory I would love to do it but I think that the Luxebourghish equivalent of “HNS” would not reimburse the prescription lenses since you guys are not in the EU anymore :/
Are you wearing a Grand Seiko "Cherry Blossom" SBGA413? Beautiful choice.
Yes! Thank you for noticing. It's very special to me
@@thespectaclefactory The light titanium, stellar dial work, and mesmerizing movement make for a truly exquisite piece. What do you love most about it?
Amazing eyewear 🫧
❤️
Love this!! Thank you!! what tint are the Adam's golden titanium frame? I think he said something like 25% blue gradient. but wanting to understand the exact details and does he have a flash coating and are they photochromatic?
They are a 25% blue gradient tint with a blue light filter to give it that extra hint of blue
@thespectaclefactory Thank you so much! Do you do over the phone consultation via zoom call? I got a new JMM Saburo opticals and wanting to put Zeiss tint and flash coating. I live in US and thought either ask your consultation. Since I have progressive RX, ideally I would like to visit your shop on my holiday, and leave the frame and pick it up on my return from holiday.
Yes, we offer virtual consultations via Zoom or FaceTime - whichever you prefer. Drop us an email at hello@thespectaclefactory.com and one of our team will be touch.

It's almost like glasses are part of the optometrist\optician uniform!
Also, glasses are the most important accessory!
💯 - they are the first thing people see when they look at you!
@@thespectaclefactoryAnd glasses are one of the few accessories to be both functional AND fashionable!!!!!!!!
@11.30 it looks like a Matsuda 10601H Round shaped sunglasses. It seems suprising to me that you guys on your channel never say anything about Matsuda eyewear which is really at the top for quality and style.
Blue tint is the best one
💯

Sir tell me the price of AMEYEWEAR
8:30 what sunglasses are those?
Wardrobe? My Glasses are 1400.00 dollars that is, per pair. Prices are insane for the progressive eye wear. I prefer rimless. My Marchons and Calvins are getting tired. Thanks for the video. You guys are very cool. Ben

I'm saving and almost ready to pull the trigger and get the Reykjavik Eyes ASKJA GE with Photofusion X Blue.
Still not sure of which coating to go, my inspiration is the Cartier 0270 Blue & Beyond.

I actually think Ruby would look fantastic! Hope you'll order them from us 🙂

I wish the camera man would have made a close up to their face everytime they try on a different pair. I could not see the colors they were talking about about because the camera was far away. 😕
What if there is no camera man? 🤯
Brilliant vlog! Love your insights. However, there needs to be less about aesthetics and more about technical aspects. Glasses are not fashion statements first and foremost they serve a purpose. I'm not discounting style God knows I'm all about them looking good. They must be practical!
We talk a lot about that on this channel. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I'd love to see a woman on your team
We have a few! But they are all camera shy and I can't force them to be in the videos haha
@@thespectaclefactory please ask them to reconsider...make them an offer they can't refuse

Looks like Callum is stoned.
Yeah he does have that look 😅
The blonde with the too tight shirt definitely had the worst looking glasses 😬
The little Elton John was great ... 😳
Huh?
My sales guy at Edward Beiner store in Orlando told me getting a flash coating was a waste of time. So i didnt
what frame does the gay guy has ? I really like that one actually. I didnt quite hear what he said Hubba Hunstein ?
the brand is called Albert I'mstein. Which one did you like?
@@thespectaclefactory The one with blue lens. I liked that one a lot.
@@terrorsquadlith That's the Box Fixion, and we have one pair in stock!
Why are you assuming he's gay?
@@LanguidAndBittersweet lmao..
it's a really good idea, was fun to watch, but a bit disappointing that basically ''rayban - all bad, brands we sell - fantastic, unique, wonderful'' :) Quite bias, but still enjoyed this video idea, should do more. PS when people buy glasses it's not always just about quality, people like style, hell even brand name means a lot, so that's why raybans and other famous brands..
They speak truth though - my Ray Bans are by far my lowest quality frame and I think they compliment quite a few brands they don’t stock?
Blessings.
