Thank you for putting the time into this man. I'm really struggling with the idea of going bald and I don't have that confidence at the moment to go full bald. I really got pumped after this so thx.
Respect to you and all the gents featured on your channel. Been following you for a year now knowing my day would come. And yesterday i went ahead and shaved it all off and i feel great. I encourage everyone else to do so. Free your mind and get rid of your hair.
Best ways to find out: If the spot around your crown is more noticeable, the temples completely lost their density, a balding bridge at your hairline, or if you can literally see your scalp because of how thin your hair is are some of the best ways to know if it's time to shave your head.
Was staying at my sisters for a while during lockdown and my bro-in-law convinced me to let him shave my head to a 1 all over. Had a thinning/balding patch at the back for a good while that's got bigger and bigger. I never forget the first time i noticed it in a shop changing room which had one of those 360 mirrors i nearly frickin cried. My dad has a decent head of hair so i was not expecting it but both my Grandad's didn't have much hair. I don't know why i have written all this but just to say the feeling after was awesome. I was surprised my head was a better shape for it than i thought and yes there is a sense of letting go of worry and stuff afterwards.
To be honest, this guy in the video and your comment is the most uplifting thing I’ve seen about baldness. My Dad, My Dad’s Brother and my Grandad on my Dads side as well all have gone bald. Now my Brother is the lucky one with nice thick hair and I’ve got thin hair. So naturally I’m thinking and stressing about going Bald. But like most bald people say don’t fight it, embrace it. My Dads been bald for 20 years and it hasn’t affected him, so why should I let it affect me? I know I’m going to go bald one day and to be honest, I’m scared but I’m also looking forward to not paying for the barbers, buying hair products, shampoo, etc
After years of finasteride and hair fibers i decide to shave it ! I stopped everything and i feel much better, i feel free now. Thank you for this video.
You're most welcome, and I agree. I think shaved heads are awesome in general. For a guy who starts thinning, it's definitely the way to go and early before he looks all wispy--really bad look, I think.
Shaving my head tomorrow! I'm getting frustrated and upset trying to make my hair look good on a morning then it looks terrible after only a couple of hours anyway. This video has really helped me out!
Yeah I did it. I felt much better. I am, however growing my hair back again though as I think it's made me more comfortable with my hairline. I'll go back to bald again, I'm sure.
My front area was going, so what I did was another option. I had my girlfriend cut my hair and give me the Jason Statham look. A very short buzz cut. Not totally bald but very short. I like this look and my friends say I look good. I dress better and wear cool sunglasses and am very happy not worrying about my hair. Good advice. Be confident and love who you are!
Thanks so much for your inspiring videos. I've been losing my hair for a long time, especially in top of my head and the crown area, to the point that I was self conscious and I was thinking all the time how people were staring at my bald spot. A few weeks ago I buzzed my head very short, then a week later a bit shorter and now I rock a bald look, not shaved but 1 mm. Positive attitude in general from people. First day at work my colleagues asked when the saw me and I said I was going bald so I just had to assume it and embrace it. They said it made sense and a couple of them said it was about time😂
Hi mate. Just want to thank you for this video. Watched this video yesterday and went on and finally buzzed it off a couple of hours later. And i'm loving it already😂
It's a 3 year old video. But it exactly describe what I do. Spending half an hour to get the hair perfect, and then consistently worrying about the wind currents through the day and not to mention that, water and good lighting become your worst enemies. Hopefully il get the courage soon...
Thank you very much As I started going bald in 8th class And i have pretty much low hair density now that i am in my Freshman year of college I think your words mean much and i will show my baldness. I am

Those of us who get red marks all over shaving heads with razor and shaving cream/soap we need to use clipper, trimmers. To dry shave head, one must be comfortable with clippers, trimmers that are to be used. So you need to provide the best and easiest, most comfortable to use clipper, trimmer or combination and show how to do that. If one does not have confidence in tools then they will hesitate to dry shave head.
Started losing my hair in my mid to late 30’s, I didn’t want to shave my head, but my hair had too much hair loss and thinning hair loss. I didn’t want to shave my head, but I didn’t like losing my hair, so I said goodbye to my hair in May 2020 and my hair is gone and I’m fine with it.
Its easy bro....im a barber and i shave my head. Go to your barber and tell him to shave it then sit back and relax. Thats the first step. You will be nervous, scared but just do it. You will be shocked at first but after a short time you will start to feel better about yourself. Go for it my bald brother!!!!
So, did you eventually shaved it off man? :D I remember my first time, I stood there in front of the mirror laughing, thinking to myself "WHAT THE F AM I DOING!?"
I'm Norwood 3 and 17 and it's been depressing me so bad I don't want to leave my house and go in public. People already make fun of me and say I look like a divorced dad and i'm afraid if I shave it off it's going to be worse then it already is. I truly hate balding.
The thing is for me I've been trying ways to regrow for like 2-3 years now, and I keep thinking I actually found something that's working, and honestly I think it is actually working in some ways (like extending my hairline back a bit). BUT then I get a look at myself in the mirror, and I think "wtf?? That's not any better than it used to be. It might even be worse." All the hoping and experimenting and stressing, it's getting to be too much.
i've shaved my hair a lot throughout my childhood and in my late teens i began growing out my hair. now that i'm in my twenties i've been feeling the urge to shave it off because the amount of hair i see in the shower is concerning and my room just has random strands of hair everywhere plus it's just scary going out in public constantly worrying about how it looks. i don't plan on shaving it right away but i'll give it a few months before i make my decision and this video has helped with how i feel, knowing that i don't have to constantly worry about it or just not give a damn makes me feel good
I just shaved after a few weeks debating whether I should just shave it off I have thin hair and it was getting patchy and I could see lighter spots and honestly besides looking like a knee cap I feel great it’s quite freeing 🤙
I'm 27 and each year my receding hairline gets more noticeable... should I shave it or just let it grow? I don't have thin hair but when the wind is somewhat string my hairline becomes embarrassingly visible.
Im not going bald but i still shave it like you do once a year from long hair. It feels great. Bald is great no matter if you are losing your hair or not
Well everything your saying is true..! I have a widows peak and a receding hairline somewhat and thinning hair left and right of it...! If I do go bald though at 30 I won't stress about it and get a buzzer at the store I'll just watch thin out! that's my idea..!
It is bold but sometimes one looks better with a shaved head. I decided to do it during covid and never went back. Many people may not like it but one must feel confident.
Haha good statement... “dont worry about your hair anymore, because youre already dont have any hair” 😂 hahaha ... by the way your shape of head looks good bro, thats why its look pretty when you shave it. 👍🏻
Grateful for this channel! Has anyone got any tips for easing out of the wearing a cap phase? I’ve pretty much wore a cap every day of my life for the past two years and have zero confidence if I don’t have it on
I've shaved my head completely bald here and there a few times just to try it out, but then I went right back to growing it out about a half an inch. I get sick of looking at it though, so I'll probably just take it all off again for good. Screw it

Sounds like you have a strong looking face. That can actually be an advantage Jason Mamoa style (or however you spell it) its a warrior look. Start smashing the gym, pack on some muscle and you will worry far less about the hair
Only just beginning to consider it (don't be fooled by my profile pic, it's 10 years old!), but your positivity makes this seem so much less embarrassing. I'm going to speak to a co-worker this week since I found out that he's only a few years older than me and ask him what the process was like. Cheers!
I'm 18 and balding badly my hair is pretty much dead minoxidil and rosemary oil didn't work it's purely my genetics so i'm more than ok with going bald because everyone can look amazing if they put in the work to look good
I have a thinning hairline, and only under certain lighting conditions you could tell im thinned out up top in the front....but i dont feel that it is time to shave it down yet. Part of me believe it is from having my locks pulled out upfront years ago but my tip has always been more silky and thin than my sides and the back of my head.
ive been losing my hair and im exactly the guy you’re describing, but my head is extremely round and i truthfully think im going to look like an idiot because of it. i feel like im cursed because i want to shave it, but deep down inside i feel like im gonna look like a beach ball.
I have long beautiful hair that I've always loved but before i few my hair out i used to rock the big razor skin bald head. I've had a fucked up hairline since I was 12. Just a big natural widows peak. Now I'm thinking about going back to the old bald look. I wear hats every day anyhow. Only difference is my hair won't be hanging out of it. I think this may be my last year with hair.
I’m 15, and my hair is really thin (naturally too..) and my hairline is moonwalking (also naturally). That’s why I just want to end my suffering by just going bald. But since I’m 15, I don’t really have facial hair yet. That’s why I’m also afraid of looking like, Idk. It’ll just look bad. Donno what to do.
Don't worry too much. You are most likely still in puberty, so facial hair should slowly appear with 16 or 17. Before you can grow a beard, maybe you go for buzzcuts first? After 2 or 3 years you can then shave bald with the ability to grow facial hair.
@@LakituKoopa I actually just got a buzz cut just to see how it would turn out, and ngl, doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would. I’ve gotten a lot of positive compliments. Though, my hair is still kinda long for a buzzcut, and still looks kinda thin. So I’ll try even shorter next time, if it looks bad - it’ll just grow out again. So nothin to worry about rly. But yes, I think I’ll wait with going bald until I get actual facial hair. Thanks :)
I spent the last year feeling SOOOOO ugly because I had a big Ole thin bald spot on the top of my dome piece, tonight while I was in the shower I was like 🤷♂️ hell why not, let's do this. Man I feel sooooooo much better, it's going to take some getting use to but fellas there is somthing about embracing it that makes your self esteem shoot through the roof!!!! I thought I would look really weird and it turns out I look like me, just without hair 😂😂 Cheers my fellow baldies!!!
Bro, Im 17 and i understood i was going bald this summer so i decided to shave my head. And know i feel better cause i don't need to worry about "hiding my bald head" but on the other hand i can't accept myself, maybe cause i think its really too early for loosing hair, but idk. Anyway thanks for this video, i recevied such a positive energy from it.
If youre watching this video then 9/10 youre ready to shave it. Have fun!

ive been losing my hair and im exactly the guy you’re describing, but my head is extremely round and i truthfully think im going to look like an idiot because of it. i feel like im cursed because i want to shave it, but deep down inside i feel like im gonna look like a beach ball.
Mate!! Keepin' it 💯
Shaved mine for the first time tonight. I feel good already. Do it kings.
This beard length really looke the best on you! Looking awesome!
This blokes pretty onto it mate
Im 22, never had short hair, got bored, now im here, feels like a manly initiation
you most be perfect guy to your look thanks for this .
Just do it and wear a hat if you need to. Hella people wear hats in high school nowadays.
Thanks :)
@@The_Top_J cool. Nice that it works for you :)
1:58 like Tom Hardy with patchy hair and still looks good
I spent the last year feeling SOOOOO ugly because I had a big Ole thin bald spot on the top of my dome piece, tonight while I was in the shower I was like 🤷♂️ hell why not, let's do this.
I've been losing hair since highschool and I wish I had the confidence to do it I'm 22 now and still haven't cuz im too scared
Balding here since 14, 18 now I think I’m gonna shave it 😢
Bald is cool. No comb-overs ever.
I fucking hate this… had long hair for 20 years, but now pretty much doing a comb over daily.
I really don’t want to shave it off 😭
