PGA's Scottie Scheffler booked into Louisville jail after crossing accident scene outside Valhalla

Scottie Scheffler, the No. 1-ranked player in the world and winner of The Masters last month, has been handcuffed and detained by Louisville Metro Police at Valhalla Golf Club this morning after trying to cross the scene of a fatal accident at the course entrance, according to ESPN.

Hmmm sounds bad but this sounds like a misunderstanding, even if your Mr special you can’t drive through a fatal accident. Likely could have been handled better by both parties. I think that’s fair to say.

Turning the wrong way, maybe, but actually coming to a stop then accelerating and hitting the police officer trying to give you directions? That's not a misunderstanding, That's a decision that you're going to do what you want to do and not what the cop is telling you to do, and expecting the cop to get out of your way.

Even the most charitable take from [notoriously unreliable] eye witnesses have him ignoring the instructions from the officer and dragging the officer - that's not misunderstanding. Whatever other "misunderstandings" may have led up to that moment, there was no misunderstanding that the officer instructed him to stop and he decided to do as he pleased.
But don't worry, he's got plenty of money and that will buy him a high powered attorney who will get it pled down to a minor traffic infraction.

Where did I say what happened definitively or how I felt on it one way or the other when I commented on the day of? I’d like to know? Also it seems you idiots rather rush to judgement before even using your logic of relying on “notoriously unreliable” here-say. That’s fine though you can choose to overlook that on your own time. It’s what I’d expect someone who would say “deeerppp two of us said we are right, so dat makes you wrong derrrep”. If it comes out that is all true then I won’t be the won to challenge it. No body cam footage though, that came out today. So this will be decided in the courts. Not by you, not by me.
