    don't we only use P=Fv when the velocity is constant? (Please reply my exam is in a few days)

      Yeah just searched it up u are right we use this formula primarily for constant velocity

    How do u know the initial horizontal velocity is zero?

      bro sand hit the conveyor belt at an angle of 90, which means it only had vertical velocity and no horizontal velocity
