As well as a great guitarist / singer/ songwriter and he was a wee lad fae East Kilbride, oh and chronologically, it was the Poets, Marmalade and then Blue.
Saw Blue at the now gone Olympia ballroom in East Kilbride just after the first albums release.It was a kind of a home town gig for Hugh.The place was heaving.I wonder if he remembers it.
