I have seen hank live no joke over twenty times from working the concert or as a extra job when I was a cop. He looks a little buzzed here but thats how it is with him when he is sober and at his best he is hard to beat.
He sings good just like his Daddy did Looking like his Daddy and his Mom ..I think he does ..His dad was tall Slim ..I think Hank Jr his in his 70 s by now ..He use to go too My Sister Church and he lived not too far from my Sister in TN Close to the Kentucky Border Line ..Him his Friends do alot of Boar Hunting and All ..In TN

You made the RIGHT decision there sir!! Martin guitars are unbelievable guitars. I love them. I just wish they weren't so expensive lol, but they're worth it. Next one is a D-41 or 45, then I'm set.👍
Martin is considered the gold standard of off the shelf guitars. I have the mahogany solid top D-17, among a few others, like a Sigma which is just a Martin that’s made in Japan and it holds its own very well actually. It’s great but I definitely want to rob a drug dealer (lol) and get the D-45. Hanks guitar here is I’m sure a very well made specifically for him, a Gibson J-45. I love it’s sound BUT what a whole lot of people don’t realize is the player can actually manipulate the guitar to make it sound better than it should and put the same guitar in the hands of somebody who has no soul and the same guitar will sound cold and off putting. Willie Nelson’s guitar ( named Trigger), is a Martin Spanish edition set up for nylon strings instead of steel strings which is what gives him that unique sound when he’s flat picking it. My Sigma is maybe @ $150, compared to my Martin D-17 worth @ $1000 and I promise you it plays really well side by side. I use the Sigma to work out new songs, I’m a songwriter and if I’m playing out I use the Martin bc it’s amplified.
