You know, just because Magic Johnson was a great basketball player doesn’t necessarily mean he should be running a sports franchise. I wrote before basically to Commanders fans, “Be careful what you wish for. Just getting rid of Daniel Snyder won’t make your team better.” There’s a very good chance they could worse, if that’s possible. Snyder would laugh as he contemplates his 500-percent profit or whatever he banked.

Best odds imo are he lands with the Giants and not for lack of the other two NFC East teams possibly wanting him but because New York will offer him the most power. Philadelphia will never give him GM power after the Chip Kelly debacle and especially not while Howie is still doing his magic money tricks, and Dallas won't give him GM power because there is ZERO possibility of Jerry Jones ever splitting power evenly after how he showed that if HE'S not the man, nobody can be as seen with Jimmy Johnson.

I think the Jets are a factor. I think it’s a fit if the jets don’t win anything. Especially if Rodger’s is serious about a few more years. Gives him a fantastic defense with a QB that can be his own OC. Plus they like and have a lot of respect for each other. Also I wouldn’t put the 9ers out of reach. It’s a long shot but if Shannon fails again I can see them going for a coach that has done it before. Kyle is very overrated. Imagine a lot of .500 coaches with that defense and weapons on offense

At his age he should be thinking about finding something else to do. The game slowly passed him by, he's not the young hotshot that was lured away from the Jets and who got LUCKY drafting a 6th round QB that no one wanted who just manifested into Tom Brady. Bill had NOTHING to do with that. His GM abilities are provably horrible and I feel like he's just trying to get somewhere so he can prove to himself and everyone else that he can do it without Brady and that is NEVER going to happen...especially if he goes to Dallas.

Good points. Bill is a classic case of a guy who was a great coordinator, game planner and cagey intellectual who really isn't cut out for head coach. He's not a father figure type that you want to work hard for, he's not the McVay type that is not just a players coach but a really great communicator and is able to relate to everyone. Bill has NO coaching tree, NOT ONE of his coaching assistants went on to do anything but fail and then come crawling back to poppa Bill for their old job back.
