the best way to fight yagluth is to tame 40 Lox and swarm with cavalry. Just to make sure to hold to back to rebuild the heard after the fight. You'll probably need to build a base nearby order to passively grow a herd large enough to do this.
5:01 You want the legit easy mode fight for Bonemass: Equip the Root helmet, best chest and leg armor you have. Combo that with a mace, "normal shield", one healing and poison resistant potion.
Bonemass and Yagluth are really no effort fights if you don't want to fight them "properly". Bonemass will never touch you if you just jump on the skull and hit him with the sledge hammer aoe. Yagboy will just derp in circles trying to hit you if you stay behind him. I think this fight is quicker with the frostner or other silver weapon.
Bonemass can be done easy by just jumping on top of the skull you summon him from and then just shoot him with fire arrows, it only took like 120 arrows or so and my bow did not break. And modar fight can be done easy by digging a trench around the summon stone to have a divit to jump into when she fires at you, then just run around the trench and fire at her from cover. Yag ACTUALLY is easy lol use a fire resistant potion and use the porcupines heavy attack, it dose a nice chunk of his health and to prepare the boss arena just make some pillars all around with your hoe to dive behind when he shoots his beam, hardest part is just how much health he has, I had to use 2 - 3 fire resistant potions witch are a MUST but after a minute you'll get his pattern down and it's not that difficult just long
I had fire resits in that clip and he was still burning me for a lot. Yag is far from easy, very over tuned and needs work. The fact that the queen is easier to beat than him says it all.
I'm about to go try yaggy boy method... hope the haven't patched that exploit. EDIT: Nah this doesnt work anymore. Yaggy can see you under the stone thing now, so he attacks you and damage goes through the stone thing
Yagluth is a pain. I got him stuck on terrain so I could shoot him with a bow while I waited for bonemass cd before autoing him. Took like an hour or so. The cheese you use is super nice tho. Good video.
Question: When fighting the first boss, where are the thunderstorms? That boss creates a thunderstorm upon summoning, but you have clear weather the whole time.
That's not a mechanic. Maybe you just had bad luck that a storm started just as you summoned the boss, but they are not related. The day just turns darker but that's it.
@@AgusSkywalker It happens with each attempt and goes back to sunny after the fight. Plus, on the Valheim Wiki is states that it is a mechanic. "Each boss also forces their own unique weather effect: Eikthyr's Thunderstorm (env Eikthyr)" This only took 30 seconds of research to find, so I am not sure where your statement originates from. Could you please provide a source that says it is not a mechanic? There's an environmental console command specifically named for the effect.
Yaglith is easy with fenrir armor and ranged combat. He only has 2 ranged attacks, you can easily run out of them, and one of them is blocked by altar. It is a long figh, but really easy.
I'm almost completely sure they increased the drop rate for deer trophy's. Me and a friend are doing a hardcore type world and we got like a stack of deer trophy's while getting leather for armor.
Honestly, if you prepare accordingly and isolate the boss from surrounding mobs, all bosses are pretty medium difficulty. Soloed Yagluth with Frostner and Padded Armor with Health and Fire Resist potions, it was a challenging fight but I didn't feel the need to cheese it. I could understand cheesing him if you want to get faster into the Mistlands tho.
Does the frost resistance from the cape and the frost mead stack? I always thought you could only use one from either armor or a mead (same with poison). *Edit: I just checked and multiple sources say that status resistance meads and armor resistance do not stack. The game simply checks for whatever the highest resistance you have is. Armor is usually "resistant" whereas meads are "very resistant".
Fight is trash, way to hard and way to long. He is completely out of balance with the rest of the bosses. He comes before the queen and the queen is an easier fight. Heck half of the time you can't even get close to him to attack him! He 100% needs rebalanced. But you know, go on, tell me how easy it is.
I agree his fight is not too hard, but it’s a decent challenge. His attacks are very telegraphed with room to react. Basically just becomes an endurance challenge is all
I feel like the fight is more hard in the way that his health is too high and bow doesnt do a lot unless you use frost arrows, then bow isnt too bad. I just dont like how long the fight is. If youre going melee, prepare for a not so fun fight. But I get a bunch of 2 star wolves and a bow with frost arrows to make my life easier.
does Moder really summon ads? there's nothing in the wiki about that (not that it's exhaustive) so all evidence is anecdotal unless a dev has confirmed it. and if so, when do you suppose the change was made? admittedly, I've no fought Moder in a long time
I fought moder a few weeks ago and she definitely did not spawn anything, however like 2 drakes appeared on location during the battle. Never seen a stone golem during the fight tho
I used the kill command to kill everything around her before I started fighting. I moved around in a large area spamming it. 1 out of 3 fights the golem showed up. Sometimes it was just dogs and/or drakes. It happens right after she roars. It looks like the roar has a chance to bring in ads. This also happend a few min into the fight after I just ran the kill command. Unless there is some crazy bug there is no way anything should have respawned in the area as most respawns in the game are triggered by days passing. Considering 2 of the other bosses also summon ads and what I was seeing during the fight one can conclude she does indeed summon ads. Keep in mind wikis are often missing data and are sometimes just flat out wrong. Just because the site has the word wiki in it does not mean its the be all end all source of info. I have very often proven the Conan Exiles wiki wrong.
I've noticed that the Golem spawn rates in mountains happen way more often now. Not sure when it started, but was before Mistlands came out. Their spawn points seem to spit them out more than once a day, especially if you leave the area and come back to it. I had a golem spawn point near the Moder spawn on one play thru recently and ended having to kill 3 golems within the 1 moder fight. That was highly annoying. But my last Moder fight only had 1 Drake swing by the whole time, that's it. Valheim be Valheiming sometimes though...
I was at her summoning spot I had ran kill all. She landed the second time roared and a golem showed up from behind me. So she either spawns adds or calls them in from the surrounding area. This also happened in a totally different location. From my first test. So your telling me both spots has a golem close by? Make a new world run the command find dragonqueen 10. Go to her spot run command spawn dragonegg 3. Run around the area hitting the k key. Run command god. Summon her and fight her. Do it a few times. Always run kill command between fights. Bet you anything a golem shows up at some point after she roars.
Isn't it easier to cheese bonemass from 3/4 of the way up the skull? Unless they patched it, there's a height where you can hit him but he can't hit you.
He can throw ads at you still and last time I checked the poison could get you. Not sure if this has changed but the tree is pretty easy as well and just shuts him down.
Cleared the area multiple times and fought her in 2 different location and had golems show up. They came at me on the boss stone during the fight. If they were in the area that close to the boss stone they would have come at me before the fight. Her roar has a chance to spawn adds 100% sure of it.
@@Firespark81Golems probably spawned because it's mountain biome, we fought her recently. A golem was stuck in one of the holes we dug for silver, preventing any other golems from naturally spawning. so there were no golems during the boss fight

You have to make sure no part of you is stick out. If you are at the edge or if you head is stick out he will see you and the ai will activate. This method works I have tested it many times. Heck he pretty easy with just poison resist and iron armor if you use a tower shield and mace. But you cant beat hiding in a tree lol
That's how I did it. Parried his melee, ran from his poison, one-shot most adds with the mace since everything is weak to it, ezpz.

Bonemass
Get on top of summoning head and slam ground with sledge.

I know that eikthyr is incredibly easy but I love to over prepare by getting bronze gear early using the trolls and just rolling him

You can change the loot tables. Is it changed on your playthrough?
MODER, i keep dying on the side of the mountain, lost all my equipment by now xd, day 400
Yagluth is ez stand in water leveled with the ho and a fire res potion. Water debuff makes fire damage not exist.

honestly the only hard fight in the game is the Queen, and thats simply because of the ads
When we did the Yag fight we were able to activate the altar from inside the mesh.
The boss fight with the dragon kinda reminds me of skyrim not gonna lie Dovahkiin dragon born lol❤

"I always thought you could only use one from either armor or a mead" I did too but apparently that is not the case as fire resistance stacks.
I still like bonemass as a target for increasing bow skill. Where else can you find something that will let you shoot it 600 times?
Thats actually an interesting strat.
If you’re well prepared and know what his attack animations look like (which are extremely slow and broadcasted) Yagluth is not a hard fight. 16:39

I hate cheese, cuz it kills the boss no doubt bt also kills the fun along with it
