Thanks Toolman Tim. I have started my power tool load out standardized with Dewalt, but it is expensive. It is nice to know I have some flexibility here... For example if I need a tool that I am not going to use very much, I can buy bauer and use the adapter!
Thanks for the Vid - Bauer 1/2 impact in my future now because I only need it a couple times a year and have lots of DeWalt batteries. August Sale coming up at Harbor Freight - Thank You again.
Dont knock the 3D printed version. It's bidirectional. Dewalt battery to Bauer tool and Bauer battery to dewalt tools. As a bonus, it even works with Hercules battery to both Bauer tools and dewalt tools. It's also more compact.
@@TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP my brother bought one from ebay last year. It's sold out on ebay though. Not sure when it'll be available again. There's a switch on the side for dewalt tool or Bauer tool. Common mistake is not switching to the right tool. My brother did that and thought the adapter was defective.
I have a dewalt to Ryobi adapter cause I needed a cheap powered caulk gun for a large special and one time project... worked great and now I keep picking up cheaper special tools from Ryobi.... may try Bauer next!!
I just bought this adapter for a New Bauer cordless planer and it doesn't work. When you pull the trigger, the blades move about a 1/4" and that's it! No one is showing this tool with a Dewalt battery on RUclips.
Thanks for yet another great review...! I have one as well and use it along with my DeWalt batteries in the Bauer 3-1/2 gallon shop vac, which I now refer to as my "DeBauer"...! Love the adapter...! Well worth the money...!
You're not worried if when vacuuming for a while and lose track of time, you may fully drain the battery and kill it? My understanding is that these don't have low-voltage detection and will fully drain it. Or do you just resort to having to check the status every few moments?

If that does happen, the battery is revivable. Just take the dead battery that the charger doesn't recognize, and connect Positive to positive. And neg to neg with a charged battery. Give it 5 or 10 minutes and it should have enough charge for the charger to recognize it and take it the rest of the way
I just modded a newer style brushless bauer grinder to accept the dewalt batt. it worked for 2 second than quit. Not sure if the motor spun in reverse, or it blew a circut inside it. Either way, I have to find another way around this issue.
I have Hercules batteries and I used this adapter for a couple Bauer tools I bought on sale. Works great. Thanks for the suggestion
I just saw a video before this one, where a guy cut a small plastic tab on a Bauer leaf blower, and the DeWalt battery worked without an adapter.
Glad you like it and I'm totally impressed with all the different Batteries you have. And it's awesome it works with so many different kinds.
yeah i figured why not test them all and see, so far so good
Legend says a man still wanders the abandoned motel looking for his lost battery!
Thanks for this comment. Give me a good chuckle this afternoon.

I recently purchased a DeWalt to Craftsman's adapter. It worked perfect with Craftsman 20v blower got for free.
Pretty cool piece of kit. Had not seen that before. I dig this thanks! 👍
so crazy the little gadgets that are out there
The dewalt adapter for the old 18v to the new 20v works great!!

Really I had no idea. Is there a place to buy one or are they only printable

Any adapter that will allow dewalt batteries on the hercules brand?
Just got one of these adapters and got a bauer weed wacker for $50! Beats the $150 for a dewalt one!
I gotta add that to my list to order
Just a heads up the larger 5ah powerstacks do not play well with any of the adapters I have. Must have advanced circuitry.
Looking for the link to purchase the adapter on Amazon or description to search on amazon...thanks

I need adaptor to run skil 20v cir saw from either Dewalt or Milwaukee batteries. Any suggestions.
Does anyone know if a dewalt battery works on the harbor freight Atlas lawn mower?
Def not with some sort of adapter but I haven’t messed with atlas yet

Will it work on Dewalt battery to Hercules?
What about Hercules by Harbor Freight?
This adapter isn't for hercules batteries not sure why harbor frieght doens't standardize on a single platform
I would rather be able to run my dewalt Tools with my bauer batteries. dewalts batteries suck and are to expensive.
