Hi Rachel. I recently discovered you but it's as if I've always followed you... your path is incredibly identical to mine... training, food, eating disorders, reading, personal growth paths, even Marisa Peer... For me too Tracy represented a turning point for many aspects, and I'll always be grateful to her, but for some time now I've been feeling exasperated every time I unroll the mat and I'm about to start… I don't know what it is… maybe a lot of things, including the ones you mentioned… the crazy thing was that I felt guilty to change her training… so, thanks! It's silly, but your choice was very useful to me. I love Tracy, but for now I have to change. There are other workouts that are tempting for me, especially with a more "free" approach like me… Hamelin was one of the options, so I'll definitely give him a chance… Anyway, really, thank you!

Okay, I just purchased Xpress (since my brain cannot handle over 30 minutes at the moment 😂). What a nice workout (lower body)!! I didn’t feel rushed, having to hurry up (as I always did with TA). Definitely a sweat & muscle burn going.
I’m going to try 3 days toning and 2 days of his low impact cardio (like he had posted on Instagram for Inch Loss program).

Ok I’m going to recommend you take class in person at a studio, and try PureBarre. I’ve taken Bar Method over 1500 classes switched to PB when BM closed. In 250 classes with PB my abs are FLAT and I’m 65 postmenopause. Try it for a month you’ll see similar moves and it’s low impact. Just do classic.
I think being with a community in person will motivate you and most of the clients in PB look pretty ripped. I’m like you I exercise to look slim.
I like PB best I tried TA I’d do TA if she opened a studio in Scottsdale. You learn and get real time form corrections in studio.

I see everyone goes through this. They make active choice to stop doing the Tracy Anderson Method. Depending on how long they have stuck with it will determine their return. When I stopped I was able to keep the basic shape for two years. It does fall apart and it is so much harder and longer to get it back. It's been almost two years and my body hasn't responded like it did the first time around. Other say they can see changes. What's good about stopping is you discover how you are when it comes to commitment and your own accountability. What I have learned is that I am highly skilled in talking myself into things and out of things. When I return to Tracy it's was for good. There's a certain freedom when I gave up micromanaging. I am better able to accept the responsibility of it.
