Great video. I look forward to trying out the new Lyric. I’m currently riding the Lyric which came with the 2020 Hightower V2. Freaking love that fork. I am so impressed by how supple and smooth it feels. My other bike SC 5010 has a new fox factory 34 and even though they are different Stanchion diameters the Lyric is better in regards to smoothing out rough terrain. I do think Fox Suspension looks better to the eye
I actually have 2023 fox factory geip2 orange, 160mm. I do have the rockshox c3 Lyrik Ultimate. The turn of for the Lyrik is that only have rebound not slow and high like the fox grip2. Fox factory grip2 has slow/high rebound and slow/high compression. For the money, I would not recommend rockshox as you get less external settings. I decided to go full fox factory on my Santa Cruz Hightower v3. Fox factory grip2 orange 160mm front and fox float factory X rear. Awesome to be honest!
I think, if someone is good at setting up and have the patience to work on it. Fox is really good, for smoothness feels of average riders. They'll go for Rockshox, big hitting drops and jumps will probably go for Fox.
having both LSR and HSR is overrated, you really only need the HSR function. As for LSC and HSC, I can see having both can be useful if you're climbing and want the LSC, but the fun (downhill) is all about HSC setting.
That green lyrik really reminds me of Master chief I was gonna get black with silver lyrik decal for my black and silver trek rosco 7 2023 but since i was addicted to halo I don’t think I can look back going with the green no doubt
Man I am wanting to ditch my fox 34 for a pike. I know the newest model fox 34 is much stiffer than my 2021 model have you ridden the new 2023 Pike? Whatever I get is going to be the newest version of the two I just can’t find a comparison yet on RUclips
Hey! My buddy has the new pike and says it’s amazing. I have rode both the older versions of the pike and the lyrik and if the new pike got as much better as the lyrik did it will for sure be better then the 34 in my opinion. It is crazy how good it is! I have rode the new 34 and it is super good but I think the Pike will be better

Currently torn between either Pike, Lyrik or Fox 36, at 140mm. What do you think I should pick? *note: I can currently get a pretty good deal on a '23 Lyrik Ultimate
Yoooo! I have been riding the new pike 150 mm on my tallboy for a while now. And it is outstanding. Simple. Yet with enough adjustments for settings. Not familiar with fox. But super happy with my decision.
In the 150 Range I would say the current Lyrik, once you get to 160 and more travel you can go to the Fox 38 or Zeb, but even at 160 the Lyrik is still amazing and a decent amount lighter.

Over and over again I hear people rave the Lyrik over the 36 when it comes to people who’ve ridden both… My Lyrik Ultimate rides sooo buttery and supportively for how it does that. That said I just bought a Fox 36 off a guy for cheap to try out and it just doesn’t feel quite as good. Funny thing is the dude was selling it, brand new take off because he put a Lyrik Ultimate on instead…
Yeah that is something to think about for sure! If you don't have the time to learn the settings you can get lost in the setup and ruin a ride very easily! The Rockshox stuff is so good also so hard to not use RS right now.

I agree, the Fox stuff does look really good! But RockShox has some magic going on in the feel!

Yeah that’s definitely a great setup! The Fox Grip 2 fork (Performance Elite or Factory) works super well.

How does the fox 36 grip 2 compare to the lyrik charger 3 trail chatter is the butter cups in the lyrik better at trail chatter reduction?
They are super close, but I do think the new Lyrik does a tiny bit better of a job at doing it.
Is the lyrik ultimate good for jumps? Or is the fox 36 better for that? For my aggressive hardtail
The Lyrik will do just as good in any condition as the 36, if not better.

I would say they are very similar as far as stiffness goes.
I personally dislike anything with the grip. 2. There are too many settings.
