    I'm a new subscriber to the channel! If it wasn't too much to ask, could you make a video disassembling her fairings?

    How much oil did you use? I used like 1.95 quarts lol…. Almost 2 with a little splash left at the bottom of the second quart… Is that about what you used as well???

    a few questions,
    why not use a bit of the new oil to coat the top of the new filter? Why the old oil?
    If we can just do hand tight for puting on the filter, why do we need to take it off with a wrench? would hands not work?
    Also, where could we get those nylon washers? And is there different sizes to worry about? ( I have the same bike as you, year as wel)

      its just easier to put old oil cause that oil is just too lubricate the oring to make the perfect seal and for the oring to not crack so no harm putting old oil
      when your engine is working and heating, that heat actualy makes the filter get tighter so most of the times you cant just take it out with your hands
      the washers you can buy kits with multiple sizes

    On the plastic clips you popped out on the front of the fairings, do you just stick the flathead under the outside and pry out? Or do you have to press the center of it like a button and then pry out?

    • @kylelarsen472
      @kylelarsen472  2 года назад

      For plastic clip facing forwards, you can use either a flat head or a pick to pull it out then remove the retainer. For the one facing down, I just use the back of a screwdriver and press from the inside out.

      Yeah, it didn’t seem like a big difference. Only thing I really notice was the high rpm’s on the highway and the cluster of lights that came up on the display
