Another great video! I watch your channel with my three year old grandson. He loves trains and is so excited to watch you fix and test trains on your huge setup. Keep up the great work!
Great show, love when you have folks sharing the hobby instead of charging high prices.....whomever gets that Pennsylvania locomotive is lucky for sure, it looks really nice. Thanks for the video😉👍
This is absolutely crazy. I'm from central Europe and if these tables were here, I would literally fill my van with everything offered there on spot and spend the next 15 years with my kids building train layouts... after building the necessary garden house or two to fit it all in. Sadly, here a good deal on most of stuff offered between 0 and 1 CAD is somewhere between 10 and 50 Euro if you are lucky.
The German Roco locomotive is a 111 Class and the German silvershaped coaches are called "Silberlinge". These coaches are used as one unit with the 111 loco, it is a push and pull trainset for local passenger trains. The trainset is in the shape from the late 80es and early 90ies. Roco is a really high end modelrailwaymanufacturer. You made a great deal getting these trainset!
Awsome Haul. I like your shows. I have been getting back into the hobby since a major work accident. My Doc said I should get a hobby as therapy . I lost most of my left hand and broke my neck. But I still have my sense of humor. Keep up on your posts. And thanks for listening to my rants. P.S. put me in for your next loco drawing... ART from BUFFALO NY...☮
Great collection and good eye for the better items. The GG1 and E8’s are the top winners. The Tyco Canadiana was clean. A little SMT tuneup and all of them will be alive and well again. Thank you for sharing.
My son and I have really enjoyed watching your videos. We have taken many old tyco engines and have started rebuilding them. He is always looking for projects at train shows now. He wanted me to let you know that the Atlantic Coast Line became the Seaboard Coast Line when they merged with the Seaboard Airline. He is really interested in your Pennsylvania Fairbanks Morse engine that you mentioned you wanted to pass on to someone. Thank you for the fun videos. You help keep our projects going. Jim and Christopher Davis
Nice additions to your collection Harrison. The E8s were marketed by Model Power and made by Roco. They have a huge can motor and flywheel but were growly when new. It’s amazing that the interurban ran. Thanks as always for sharing your interest with us.
Wonderful watching you talk about all the engines as a knowledgeable person , I also admire someone that can repair these HO engines and bring them back to life.
17:10 Atlas always ran great because of all wheel pickup snd nickel plated wheels. The Athearn is one of those early blue box GP-35 with the hood that was a scale foot and half too wide.
Great Stuff Harrison, The RFFSA one is based on an EMD Export G model, we had them here in New Zealand with A1A trucks and they were a G12 model, that Pennsy baby trainmaster is something I've been after for years hard to get different ho stuff way over here in NZ.
wow, the Silberlinge coaches set and the Roco locomotive are quite spectacular, a really big deal there, congrats! The RFFSA loco is a brazilian loco, made by Frateschi, not quite in scale, is about 1:76, but is quite reliable. The GG1 is really nice too, and the E8s are a great deal too.
I'm glad that you were finally able to go to a show I've already been to 3 already and on of them had amazing deals! I would love if the alco or baldwin PRR Locomotive in my collection!
Honestly I'd love to see you clean up and repair the Ludlow Castle Hornby locomotive and the two LMS coaches and have them returned to former glory riding the rails of your layout. As always love the videos!
8:08 SNCF TEE Baggage Car. Jouef Made in either France or Ireland 1970s 8:57 German S-Bahn loco. That is a serious find as they are expensive models and well made 9:11 Think it might be Hornby Acho French regional electric. Not completely sure 9:17 Palitoy OO gauge auto transporter I think? Sort of French Prototype. The little cars are hard to find and collectable. 9:30 Hornby British Railway Container Train Wagon. OO gauge 9:37 The two German 'Silverfish' cars go with the Roco S-Bahn loco so you have a complete 1980s German suburban train now. 10:09 Brazilian State Railways loco. What a find! 10:55 A fairly valuable and easy to repair loco. and you got the rest of the S-Bahn train. Deal of the Century! Well done.
The loco at 9:11 is a Marklin SEW800, from about 1951. Even without the motor it is a very desirable item and worth a substantial amount to a collector . The little German tinplate coach and 0-4-0 steam loco are both Trix Express. The loco should run on 4.5V DC as it was originally sold as part of a small battery operated starter set in the late 50s. The 3-rail diesel loco is a Marklin 3021. As for the Dublo loco, it needs a lot of work - the tender chassis and front bogie are both incorrect, and it looks like somebody has been fiddling around with the smokebox door too. Ludlow Castles are always 3-rail (2 rail locos are named either Denbigh or Cardiff Castle) from the factory, so I assume that the hideous modifications have been carried out with a view to allowing it to run on two rail track. The great shame of it is that Ludlow Castle is the really rare name, with the more common earlier 3 rail locos being named Bristol Castle.
I'm from Pennsylvania born and raised i just got into trains whent to my first show at the convention center in altoona had a blast also made out cant wait to make my first layout awsome hobby im loving it.. I love that pennsy train you found great score. would be honored to receive it 😅.😊
The red EMD G8 was made in Brazil by a company named Frateschi. They are still in business . The colors are from the old government rail company RFFSA. It was a great show. Hope i can join something like this someday.
Another great video. Great haul from the show. Wish they had shows like that here in Eastern PA. I can't wait to watch you repair some of those engines. Keep the videos coming.
Oh man, I would be like a kid in a candy store there. I'm a big fan of the older passenger cars, and looks like there were a number of reasonably nice sets or at the very least a lot of inexpensive ones. Still waiting for some sort of train show to go on here in my neck of the woods here in California.
25:30 The mysterious Interurban is a model of a 1200 class Red Car ( Pacific Electric ) used in Los Angeles California. L.A. once had an extensive system.
9:07 X995 Swedish design that was tested on Amtrak northeast corridor between Washington D.C. and New York City during the late 1970's. The short body and 4 porthole windows on the side are the spotting features.
A nice train show. The Pennsy loco is a nice find. It is always fun to treasure hunt at train shows. There are a lot of shows scheduled in Florida this year. The Tallahassee show is June 25-6
Wow, I woulda had a field day! That box of European equipment is a really neat find. I had my own score this weekend, a friend who works at the town dump set aside some trains for me that someone left there. HO isn't my main thing, but there was some O gauge and some HO, and among a bunch of generic Roco rolling stock was a Rivarossi NKP Berkshire. Not only that, but the original AHM/Rivarossi manual for it, and an AHM combined train set manual and catalog. Both are dated 1973 so I think that's when the engine was made. It wouldn't run when placed on the track, but hooking leads up to the drawbar and trailing truck got it running, albeit poorly. I wasn't too worried about getting it going, and I'm happy to report that she runs beautifully now, aside from wheel slip issues that I think are caused by the traction tire having partially dried out. I think the previous owner took largely good care of it because there was barely any cosmetic damage, and it was relatively clean inside and out. I'm really impressed with the quality, I may well keep it in my collection.
Would you happen to have the part numbers and reference diagrams in that manual, maybe be able to photocopy and e-mail them? I'm working on a 1960's-70's NKP Berk from Rivarossi, and I need to get part numbers for some stuff that's missing.
The Pennsy 4828...made in Yugoslavia, probably an IHC - nowadays Mehano. All in all - a great haul, Harrison!!!! You got two or three really good runners there!!!
The euro stuff (with timesamps) 7:15 That's a Trix express one (with the signature couplers with the large lever) with a wheel change 8:09 is a Jouef TEE wagon, often used for the Paris - Brussels - Amsterdam route 8:20 Marklin V200 8:50 Roco Class 111 in S-Bahn orange 9:07 Body shell of a Dutch class 1100, made by Marklin in the 1950s 9:40 Roco Silberlinge coach 9:54 Silberlinge control cab 10:23 Some Trix Express steamer, these are DC 3 rail You have practically a full S-Bahn consist including a control cab with the 111 and the silver coaches. Only thing missing is the coupler head on the locomotive (which is Roco number 40287).
Hmm at 9:07 are you sure it's the ns1100 I thought those were blue or turqoise not green. I believe the green is a french locomotive from which the Dutch ns 1100 was derived.
Amazing finds at this show! I would've definitely picked up that interurban car and that European box myself! That red diesel is an EMD G8 for a railroad in Brazil (I thought it was for a railroad from Spain or Portugal at first)
Attended with my ten-year-old son, who was thrilled to pick up a few inexpensive items for his train table. It was a great atmosphere and I'm sure we'll go to the autumn show as well.
1:43 the MDC boxcab track cleaner (lower right) is about a $50 piece on eBay I would have bought out that entire $1.00 table. I ran into the same thing in Batavia NY on Sunday April 3. Lots of cheap trains, I spent a ridiculous amount of money on things. Some to keep, some to sell. A guy literally gave me a little brass steam engine, that's how crazy. What's even more odd is I sold a couple of expensive new pieces, usually when people are selling tons of cheap stuff nobody buys anything new and over $100. If you decide to part with the red diesel with the yellow stripe from the $5 box, I'd be interested. It's an EMD export locomotive for South America and other places. I want one for me, and it's probably easier to buy yours than try to import one from some other country. Or I can send you something in trade. You did absurdly good on that lot, there's easily a couple three hundred bucks in it. Atlantic Coast Line and Seaboard Air Line were somewhat parallel roads in the southeast US who merged in 1967 to become Seaboard Coast Line. They then brought the Louisville & Nashville and Clinchfield in to be the Family Lines, then Seaboard System, then by 1985 became a part of CSX. The CP engine with "Japan" on the bottom is probably battery powered. Hard to tell if it's the right shell or not though. It looks kind of like a Revell shell rather than the right one. The interurban at a glance looks like a Penn Line body but then up close you can see it's hand made. The drive, though, I think might be a Varney from the later 1950s or even 60s. Someone might have updated it from how it was originally built. Funny, I bought a Walthers doodlebug from about that same era, 40s, 50s, but it has an original drive in it. That one has Walthers metal sides with wood floor and roof. $50 CAD is a decent deal for those Model Power (Roco made) E8s. And $20 is a good deal on the GG1. It looks like it might be the Mehano version, which AHM first sold in the 1980s, and IHC sold later. you can test the AC engines using the AC power on the transformer, you get no speed control but it will run from it.
Great catches! Train shows certainly can’t be beat when it comes to prices. Those Pennsylvania locomotives are amazing I might be a bit bias though because the Pennsylvania is my favorite railroad
The PRR Loco would be good to use to replicate PRSL Operations at the Historic West Jersey Depot in Glassboro NJ. We love PRR Diesels and we're expanding our roster.
Me and my 5 year old son enjoy watching your videos. I have been a ho scale rail fan since I was 5. Last year at a train show in the Springfield mo area he won a raffle and got a Bachman set with a Pennsylvania f unit woukd be neat to add to the collection. Keep up the work man. There is only one hobby shop around and that's about 30 miles away. The hobby stores in Springfield are gone. It's sad I use to enjoy going to the stores looking at old stuff and new.
Hi Harrison you got sum great trains I'm impressed wish I was with you at the train show trains shows are great the best way to find video vintage stuff!! Neat a TS day is a proclaimed holiday where I come from lol!!!!
According to what I can find online - that Pensy 8815 is a FM H-16-44, Class FS16m (otherwise known as a "Trainmaster") model, by Bachman Spectrum. It ought to be a decent runner.
Wow cool lot, those athern ACL gp35s run pretty well normally, and kit built electric interurban is cool, I have a set of passenger cars that look like that
I think but I’m not positive, the engine you are giving away is an H16 44. I love those “High Hood” diesel Locomotives! It would be a fine addition to my railroad. And I promise to take excellent care of it! Thanks For your videos. And entertainment!
Going to a Train show After a Long Drought It’s worth going Back and What a Rush and boy was it worth it. I knew how It Felt Walking through the Doors Smelling the Smoke What an Arousal to get Hoping to Get to go to Another oneFor All of us. We Need to See and go to More shows.
My mom got me an HO scale Russian locomotive, it is a three rail system locomotive, but it can be modified to run on a two rail system. I don't remember the procedure to modify it, but you can probably look it up, it seemed kinda simple to do. Going to look it up again once I have space for a layout again.
Loved this video, Harrison! I'm a newer viewer to the channel, but have been a fan of the hobby for as long as I can remember. I'm from the Scranton area, so it's always nice to see PRR items on the channel. Really enjoyed seeing the pickups you got from the show!
Greetings from the Ohio Porters.🇺🇸 The GG1 was quite sweet! I like them in O gauge as well! Heavy!! 🥰 Some diamonds in the rough, others just simply good, but they could all probably use at least a little cleaning of the drives. 🧐 It amazing how much a cleaning will give you! 😳 Some good stuff! We all like those unusual pieces, even if they’re kit bashed! Enjoyed it! 🥰😎✌️
Hi smt, your videos are amazing. I never would have tryed to fix a locomotive myself tell I saw your videos. Thank you. Unfortunately we don’t have train shows in Alaska. We don’t have enough people. But is is really cool to see you go to them. Best of luck on your next video.
What a nice show and good haul! My son and I are just getting back into trains and are starting a layout build. We are using your layout design as a guide...great channel you have!
that PRR engine is beautiful My Dad started out in Pittsburgh as a young man with PRR then went into WWII and went back after the war then transferred to Buffalo when i was 4 and went thru the NYC merger and then Conrail and so on through the 45 years he was with them.
THANK YOU harrison for buying that 5 dollar box. I would have snached that up in a heartbeat so im glad you did!
I couldn't let such a deal go by like that.
I would really like to have that Pensilvania locomotive, willing to pay shipment to México cdmx
The 'misterios' locomotive is an old hellenic train😊
That Pennsylvania loco is beautiful
Love that black Pennsylvania engine!!! Wow!! Soooo nice! Great deals 👌
Another great video! I watch your channel with my three year old grandson. He loves trains and is so excited to watch you fix and test trains on your huge setup. Keep up the great work!
My son and I have been mesmerized by your videos, and since we're branching from N to HO, its been extremely great to watch.
Damn! What deals at that show! Gotta love it.
What some good deals. Wish all the best on your layout.
Looks like you made out like a bandit. We need more shows and prices like this to get the younger generation interested.
Absolutely, this would be the best way for any beginner to get started. Especially with some advice from some seasoned modelers.
Love it when you buy stuff then test them out brilliant, thanks SMT, karate Tim 🥋🙏🇬🇧.
Guy: That engine is hopeless
Harrison: Challenge accepted.
I'm glad he said that. It turned out to be a great project.
Great show, love when you have folks sharing the hobby instead of charging high prices.....whomever gets that Pennsylvania locomotive is lucky for sure, it looks really nice. Thanks for the video😉👍

I've honestly always loved the pency and the high nose diesels. There one of my favorite diesels. That thing is slick! Love the vid! Keep it up 👍
Holy cow man that has got to be the best train show you have ever gone to so far
Thank You For Showing and Sharing Your Trains and Locomotives Collection
Love the PRR high hood diesel! I wish we had train shows like your shows. Awesome opportunities!
Thank you so much for taking us to the train show. Loved it. I live on the big island of Hawaii so no train shows here. Mahalo and aloha
Glad you enjoyed. I visited Hawaii back in 2016, what a beautiful place!
What a fantastic engine, my grandson would love to have that engine for his set! Good luck ya'll! Cheers from Vancouver Island!
Hi smt I really enjoy watching your videos keep up the great work and the entertainment for all of us thank you again for bless

Great Stuff Harrison, The RFFSA one is based on an EMD Export G model, we had them here in New Zealand with A1A trucks and they were a G12 model, that Pennsy baby trainmaster is something I've been after for years hard to get different ho stuff way over here in NZ.
Yes, a EMD G12. The RFFSA was a brazilian federal railway (Rede Ferroviária Federal S.A., Federal Railway Network joint-stock company, in english).
Awesome train show tour & train show haul 🚂👍🚅
wow, the Silberlinge coaches set and the Roco locomotive are quite spectacular, a really big deal there, congrats! The RFFSA loco is a brazilian loco, made by Frateschi, not quite in scale, is about 1:76, but is quite reliable. The GG1 is really nice too, and the E8s are a great deal too.
you mean it's Horribly Oversized??
@@tommurphy4307 well yeah lol.
I have that fratecshi EMD G12 nice if not loud locomotive

Those 2 Pennsy locos are gorgeous. And a steal on the GG1!
Great video! That PRR engine would make a nice addition to my collection. Can’t wait to see some of those locos fixed up.
Nice haul you got there i can't wait to go back to a show myself and see what i can find.
I'm glad that you were finally able to go to a show I've already been to 3 already and on of them had amazing deals! I would love if the alco or baldwin PRR Locomotive in my collection!

you can test the AC engines using the AC power on the transformer, you get no speed control but it will run from it.
That’s a really nice looking loco! Nice to see the train shows are running again!
Great catches! Train shows certainly can’t be beat when it comes to prices. Those Pennsylvania locomotives are amazing I might be a bit bias though because the Pennsylvania is my favorite railroad
I’ve always liked their paint scheme, especially the one with the stripes
@@SMTMainline that’s the main reason I bought my GG1 other than it being DCC and $80 I loved the paint scheme
Love the channel! Thanks for giving! One sweet engine!
The PRR Loco would be good to use to replicate PRSL Operations at the Historic West Jersey Depot in Glassboro NJ. We love PRR Diesels and we're expanding our roster.
It Could be a nice addition to your ho collection I would say idk.
Love seeing these train show visits and hauls. The Atlantic coast line and Seaboard we're rivals until they merged
They do run pretty well I have one in CP the Fairbanks Morse diesels are one of my favourites
actually that is smaller than the trainmaster, which was a FM H-24-44.
@@tommurphy4307 it’s the “Baby Trainmaster” which was called the H-16-44
@@tommurphy4307 the H-24-66 was the full size trainmaster which was longer and had 6 axle trucks
@@northerncountryrailroad8939 Well, I went by the railroad and loco number. If it's not what it's supposed to be - that's on Bachman!!!
great haul and some excellent deals at that show
That PRR loco would be a great piece to expand my HO collection since I only have 2 others engines. Great video!
I hope you get it!
Sweet! I’m green with envy. Haven’t been to a train show for 2 years☹️ Have fun with all your “new” stuff!👍
Man I wish I lived in Canada! that looks great!
Good to see the market is alive and well. Can't wait to go to my local train show in May.
Lovely Black Jack GG1. Love the old hand built Interurban. The other Pennsy is nice. Something different.
I didn't expect such cheap prices in the show. Also very nice additions.
Nice bunch of stuff and super prices overall at that show 👍
Wow cool lot, those athern ACL gp35s run pretty well normally, and kit built electric interurban is cool, I have a set of passenger cars that look like that
Good haul, can't wait for a train show to come back here in Vancouver.
That Pennsylvania is beautiful my friend is just starting in the hobby and could really use it
I think but I’m not positive, the engine you are giving away is an H16 44.
I love those “High Hood” diesel Locomotives!
It would be a fine addition to my railroad.
And I promise to take excellent care of it!
Thanks
For your videos.
And entertainment!
So many choices. The PRR GG1loco is a good value! Fantastic!
That looks like a great show!
Loved this video, Harrison! I'm a newer viewer to the channel, but have been a fan of the hobby for as long as I can remember. I'm from the Scranton area, so it's always nice to see PRR items on the channel. Really enjoyed seeing the pickups you got from the show!
Amazing haul love the ACL stuff they really did have an a great paint scheme
Absolutely
Nice train show keep up the good work👍
Nice to see some reasonable prices in this hobby, I particularly like PRR locomotive, cant beat the price to!
Love going to train shows you can usually find some really good deals at them
Greetings from the Ohio Porters.🇺🇸 The GG1 was quite sweet! Enjoyed it! 🥰😎✌️
YOOOOO a New Zealand DA class! what a find! I've been looking for one for agesss
I’ve been To This Place A couple of times It’s A wonderful place with nice people and amazing trains for sale.
Love the E units and GG1. Hand built Interurban was very interesting.
Amazing haul! Its a rare luxury to find such good prices when I am!
Some great items here, really awesome you got a Dublo Locomotive, those things can be pretty pricey if in good condition! great video as usual!
that PRR engine is beautiful My Dad started out in Pittsburgh as a young man with PRR then went into WWII and went back after the war then transferred to Buffalo when i was 4 and went thru the NYC merger and then Conrail and so on through the 45 years he was with them.
By far the best train show honestly I would have picked up the whole box of free rolling stock!!!
Very nice train show finds! The Mehano GG1's are decent runners.
I want free train, lol, that lot of trains look really great, jelly of what you can find, thanks for showing off what you got
Top haul great prices especially that roco locomotive, good luck with the hornby I have brought many back to life takes a bit of fettling 😀
I wish you were closer because I love what you are doing!
Wow! We love your channel. My son would love that engine!
That's a really awesome hall. I have a train show near me next weekend I don't think I'll come back nearly as lucky as you though.
