Camino Portuguese Day 5, Antas to Viana do Castelo

We finished the Camino Frances and decided to review the Portuguese Way. We started with the Litoral Route but found it lacking. To much development for our taste. So we employ a few strategies to skip undesirable sections. Viana is an unknown gem. Forget the crowds in Lisbon or Porto, Viana is a true gem. You must visit the Santuario de Santa Luizia Complex. If you can afford it stay at the Pousada Viana do Castelo just behind the church. You can take a funicular to the church and be rewarded with fabulous view from the mountain top
