Vacation/Ski rentals Taos, New Mexico Zatata Oasis, info@zataracollective.com
Having personally rented this property, for our ski vacation, I can attest to the wonderful peaceful ,convenient to the slopes, about 15-20 minutes away, this property provides. Easily accommodated our family of 5 adults. I love the open kitchen living space combination. The cook never feels left out. It's a wonderful space just to do nothing as the property is the experience.
You are also central to most of the things you'd want to visit in the area. Whether winter snow activities or hiking in the summer.

Taos Ski Valley January 2025 review of the slopes
Просмотров 37114 дней назад
Perhaps global warming perhaps a warm winter but early in the season Taos can be a hit or miss for snowfall. Fortunately this day we got some snow. I suggest coming later in the season for more predictable snow. Feb or March is better. If you come during Christmas break check before hand if they have snow. Man made snow is not the same and tends to get become icy which is tricky to ski on. This...

This the the 3rd part in my HP Officejet 8600 Print Head Cleaning. We use a Waterpik on low pressure to blow out the clogged jets. If the jets are very clogged it doesn't allow that water pressure to escape and it will blow a hole in the thin plastic membrane covering the reservoirs. Sintra, Portugal a visit to Quinta da Regaleira Palace
Просмотров 5175 месяцев назад
Come with us as we explore a mysterious Palace with ties perhaps to Knights Templar. Sintra is an easy 30 minute train ride from Lisbon. We explore the grounds along with the Initiation Well and the labyrinth of grottos beneath the surface. Take a short walk through the main Palace. What I liked about this site is it opened up very quickly so you didn't feel overwhelmed with other tourists.

While on the Camino de Santiago ,the Portuguese Way we have a life visit with an artist we met in Caminho Portugal. Artist have a different way of viewing the world. Lets explore Porto Portugal a city with a vibrant past and very active present
Просмотров 605 месяцев назад
Mostly we do a walking tour. We jump on a tourist train that drives through the city. That's a bit to touristy for us. We take a Port wine tour. It's ok but I'd say not really worth it. My general summary is that Porto is to touristic in the sense that there ate lots of people here. In places it's a bit overwhelming. We end the tour by walking along the Douro river to the Atlantic coast

I don't get why all the tourism in Lisbon. In this video we do a walking tour of the city, visit a museum, Church of Santa Maria and some of the back streets of Lisbon. We take advantage of getting an all day Rail pass and go for a lovely Tram ride. I'd skip the guided tours and jump on 1 of the Trams, 28 or 28E . Both go through the more historic part of the city. This is the Portuguese Central Route. We wanted to get a flavor of 3 Portuguese Caminos. I also think the Litoral and the Coastal Routes did not do it for us. What a pair of grumpy Americans with such negative comments, the venue is used for Weddings, children are welcome. Don't want to walk a few steps. What did you want a parking place on the front steps? What did you expect? What is wrong with music? The tent is very well done and is up for summer season. You went from running the hotel down, then the grounds and even had negative comments about the animals. Do your research before you visit an area in future.

I often time back up two of my data drives. I have mobile removable racks which makes taking the drives out of the computer easy. Each hard drive in my computer (desktop) is a solid state 2 TB in size and the drive I clone to is also a 2 TB 3” mechanical hard drive. Yesterday when I put the 2.5 SSD in the “source” slot of the Wavlink unit and put the 3” mechanical drive in the target slot I turned the power on to the Wavlink unit. Normally both red lights under the red “power” button comes on and stay on while I wait for the large mechanical 3” hard drive to spin up. I give it about 10 seconds and press and hold the power button about 4-7 seconds and release it. At that time the flashing light show the progress of the cloning process (¼, ½, ¾, and finally the last flashing light) showing it’s about finished. After that both top red lights will flash for a few minutes showing the completing of the cloning process and finally all lights stay on showing finished. Yesterday one of the Wavlink units worked just as I described while the other unit’s two red lights under the power would come on for a few seconds and the left light would go out. I could not clone the drive. I ended up using just one of the Wavlink units to clone each of the 2 TB drives. This took over 10 hours. I ended up taking that 3” 2TB, deleting all the partitions, reformatting the drive and checking it for defective tracks and cylinders before using it to clone the other 2.5” hard drive. I did not know if the Wavlink was defective so I took two 2-2.5” mechanical drives and testing them. I had the one drive as the source with data on it and the other drive (empty) in the target slot. I plugged both drives in, turned the power on and pressed the power button for 5-7 seconds and released it. The Wavlink unit’s left read light did not go out. It cloned the drive without a problem. I am really puzzled about what’s going on. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you can afford to stay in the old section that's best. It's pricy to be sure. Golf is extra although you get a slight discount. The grounds are quite lovely to walk but you are captured and they like to get as much out of you as possible. Unless you are a sucker for historic dreamy manor house stays I'd say it isn't worth it. The best castle/manor house stay was Waterford Castle just outside Waterford. Very fair prices for the room. Nice golf next door

Labruge for sure! If you start in Matisinhos you still have to get over the long bridge and everything around there is big industrial. It's a sea, inland commercial port and nothing but industry. You can take a bus from Porto but go to Labruge. That's a small seaside village with not a lot of accommodations. But you are on a real coast and can walk on the boardwalk which is quite pleasant. Be prepared as depending on the beaches you will run into development even after Labruge . Eventually we gave up on the Litoral route and worked our way to the Coastal Route. BTW you asked the correct question. I wish someone would have warned me about the 1st section. Also get the Uber app as Uber is very convenient and really quite cheap for the service. That way if you hit an unpleasant area just skip that area. There are better ways to suffer

June July winds are unpredictable which means depending on when you book you could have no winds and you just motor around which is what we did almost 70% of the time. If you want to sail you can not book a year in advance. You almost have to see how the winds are then take your trip. Although you could go early spring or winter pbly have better winds but then it's a lot cooler and can't swim in the water. It's just to much money for such unpredictable.
