Such a great and very helpful video 🙌 I am curious about how how price restaurant/café photography. Since you take several images of each dish I guess the client don't pay per image? Would you care to expand a bit on this topic? Thanks in advance 🌱
Thank you Susanne. I price as a package for restaurant photography - x hours and x number of images for set price. Additional images and hours charged at a pre discussed rate.
They are all great tips ans the tip number 2 is spot on. With the cameras of today is not a problem using higher ISO if necessary, and it's not wrong doing it if then we can use the aperture that works better for that particular shot. Interesting channel, I'll follow.
Awesome video mate. I have my first food photography gig in a month so I've been looking a lot of food photography videos. I really liked the way you composed all shots by using the plates as foreground or to fill negative space, this gave me a lot of ideas. I also have an EOS R but I only have a 35mm, not sure if this will be an issue since I see most people using a 24-70mm and a 100mm macro lens for tight shots.
That point on aperture is a good one 👍🏻
Thank you mate!
Yep! That's a good one

Appreciate the support Fabrizio 🙏🏼 Yes, 1000 ISO on a mirrorless camera really isn't that bad.

What's your most often focal length taking food photo in Restuarant, 24mm or 35mm or else? Thanks for sharing.
Hey Peter, I usually use my 24-70 and shoot through the focal range. Probably 70mm most of the time though.
