Hey so I use strobes and I alternated between the Godox Ad 400 pro and the Profoto D1 500. The type of modifier will depend on the style of lighting I want to achieve. You can check out more of my process in this free class: learnphood.com/photo Let me know how I can help more
@PHOOD Everything went great 👍 I used some of your tips in this video, and a little of my own flavor to get some beautiful shots. They were extremely satisfied and hired me for their new French restaurant downtown for another shoot 📸

Great content! How do you decide between natural and artificial lighting? What about when you want to use different surfaces/backgrounds around the restaurant? How would you decide between natural and artificial in those cases?
I only ever use artificial lighting. The godoxmlights come with a recharge battery so I’m not connected to a power source meaning I can move around easily
@@PHOOD as a matter of fact 😅 I had my first restaurant gig about a week ago and it was hectic because lighting inside the restaurant is not good at all. I have been using natural light, I haven't invested in artificial lighting yet because I am just starting in food and product photography. I am learning from these experiences
@@onalekitsojasonkenosi1912 that’s wonderful. You’ll keep learning as you work more. I’ll be putting more videos on artificial lighting soon so keep watching.

Thanks for the kind comment. Clearly the audio was so bad you didn’t hear any important information. K bye
