You are lucky to get a vehicle with such a low mileage British pride (ldv) stands for Leyland Daf Vehicle it used to be manufactured in a town called LEYLAND near Preston in the county ( or province) of Lancashire approx 43 miles from manchester hence the name unfortunately when the conservative government came in power their leader Maggie the milk snatcher (Margaret thatcher) she let this national company breakdown and taken over by foreign hands from Holland who today manufacture LEYLAND DAF trucks.
