Great tutorial! Hope you're lecturing/teaching?!? Felt like the pad decision, prep and fit was missing your narration and the teaching value of the first two thirds of the clip
Nice explanation of your logic for shoe fit, and grinding adjustments. For non-Farriers, could of added explanation for frog-support pad, and 3° wedge on low foot. Also, while it looked like anti-mud after your CS crystals, didn't see any DIM for cushioning and avoiding sand/debris ingress under pad... left me wondering if you did a pour-in after?
Thanks! I will include more explanation behind the pad application in future videos. I chose not to run any DIM or pour in packing for this shoeing simply because I don’t know this horses tolerance to sole pressure yet, After I see the results of this shoeing I will likely incorporate some pour in on the next shoeing.

Did you wedge the low foot and use a flat pad on the high foot? Shoe job looks good and I liked your explanations of what you’re doing. 👍
Thank you! I sure did, good eye! Thanks for the feedback.
