  • In this bonus footage, Dr. Ridgway discusses "high heel/low heel syndrome" and how it impacts, amongst other things a horse's tendons and ligaments.
    Dr. Ridgway spent over an hour observing and discussing this horse so please be aware that this clip covers only a small portion of his findings and recommendations - He also examined another 10 or so horses on film, and you can see some of it in the second clip posted in the PRoudHorse channel.

    This shorter clip is meant as a starting point to help horse owners think about their horses bodies differently: 4 1/2 minutes only begins to cover the concepts of Laterality (crookedness) and High heel/Low heel syndrome, and how they impact the integrity of the horse's structure, his straightness and balance, but it is a start :-)
