  • Hugo’s second set of shoes under my care. I was very pleased with the progress I achieved since the last shoeing. We gained a massive amount of depth in both fronts. Thanks for watching.

your commentary, intelligent sounding explanations, diction and personaliy are what adds a lot to this video. I hope you keep expanding.

Well done with the commentary - most vids just offer the visual, with a few including a brief overview of what the problem is, or might be, while you lay out the issues, what methods you are considering to address those issues, plus explain the logic behind your choices...and the results - a Farrier video for Farriers. Thanks for that. Of course, that leaves me wanting more - show the shoe shaping, the pad cutting and riveting to the shoe, the DIM mixing and nailing, finer points of logic like lifting the off foot to weight the Dim foot for even spreading, static versus dynamic HPA assessment, whether you ground a rolled toe or hammered a rocker toe into the shoe before hand, the nailing, clinching, finishing, blah blah, you know - a full length feature, lol. Not a criticism, rather, a compliment on how well your commentary draws in the Viewer's attachment to your actions and protocols which creates a desire to see more. You and Lee Olsen pretty much cornering the market on the 'real deal' portrayal. Keep 'em comin', I need my 'fix'.

Thank you very much! My goal is definitely to try and produce content that is focused around education, not just entertainment. I will also work on putting more videos out that highlight the whole process too. I do find it difficult to keep the videos short enough while including all aspects of the job, but I will see what I can do! Thank you for the comment!

Do you always trim the low foot first? Keep these coming man. Farriers and owners need to hear this!

I sure do, it helps me establish what length I need to shoot for on the high heel foot. I just uploaded a video explaining that process in more detail! Thank you, I’ll do my best to keep the videos rolling in!
