I frankly believe that truth is in the framing of the discussion and Schumer’s comments were incredibly revealing. We need more language like this. These people worship at the alter of the State. They’re a direct a front to this nation’s founding principles and I’d wager that if our forefathers were alive today to witness what’s happening in the political landscape, at least half would wonder why there are no active rebellions.
@@nathankinman7753 The only perspective I can offer is "the bill of rights"? Ultimately I believe their perspective was clear. The people were to be the rulers, ordained by God. It's tricky. You're right. I don't normally get down with the genre, but I love the message and much respect for y'all doin your thing. Please. Give us more. It's been a few years.
People have claim that government can do things even cults wouldn't claim their leaders/gods can do like create value out of thin air, protect you from abstract concepts like terrorism or even thoughts like racism.
I think I'm in a similar boat, being some weird mix of conservative libertarian, but I can get behind this message. It will be a matter of time before I go full AnCap.
I’m a libertarian atheist though. I mean I know you aren’t talking about everyone but it honestly feel like I get quite a bit of blowback when libertarians learn I’m an atheist.
@@ulyx9804 Was a fan of Dawkins scientific work and his series cosmos but whenever he talked about religion he was a prick. Honestly this is a good song. Am i right to believe that when the lyrics say stop acting like you dont believe in god, by god they mean Govt? Honestly, alot of the atheist community is pro govt (im the only ancap atheist ik)
This has to be the best BackWordz song so far. Got some slick ass clean vox from Eric so when the screaming comes in, hits that much harder. And yeah Statheists trip me out, man. I don't blame them for not seeing the state as a religion because it's not exactly classified as one. It's one you really have to think about to see it for what it is.
Greetings from Czech Republic! Your songs are amazing. I am your new fan! We have also big ancap and minarchist community. If you will someday think about European tour you should definitely visit us! It would be so cool.
This song is perfect and it describes the modern left flawlessly, most atheists worship the state. I know there are right wing atheists who do the same but they are far and few between.
Omnism is the recognition and respect of all religions; those who hold this belief are called omnists (or Omnists). The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) quotes as the term's earliest usage by English poet Philip J. Bailey: in 1839 "I am an omnist, and believe in all religions".[1]In recent years, the term has been emerging anew, due to the interest of modern day self-described omnists who have rediscovered and begun to redefine the term. It can be thought of as syncretism taken to its logical extreme. However, it can also be seen as a way to accept the existence of various religions without believing in all that they profess to teach. Many omnists say that all religions contain truths, but that no one religion offers all that is truth.
Chuck Schumer- "This temple to democracy was desecrated" Oh, Look at that.
