What the hell are we all going to DO about getting this guy OUT there??!!! It's beginning to drive me crazy that he is unknown... and yet part of me wishes we could always have him to ourselves, and not waste his talent on them.
I think he went viral on tiktok
Yeah the algorithm has been pushing him and I hope it works
I seriously just found this guy on youtube a few months ago, and watch his daily acoustic jingles everyday! its become my daily ritual every morning over coffee!
*_Its like he's possessed by dead rock stars._*
Saw Welles a few years back in Chicago and was blown away. Spoke to him after the show. Super genuine very grounded guy and its great to see he is finally getting the attention he has deserved for over a decade. I hope he blows up in a major way.
I reckon his new look and attitude hooked back up with a band like these guys, is the winning ticket for him. He would take the world by storm. And we were all there before the fact!!!
Fingers crossed
This fucker is a force that i haven't seen in many years....
Keep on riding it man, rock and roll will thank you. We just lost the last living member of the MC5 and we need more real rock and roll!
Man I can't believe this group didn't take off. Makes me sad good groups aren't getting the recognition they used to. Especially after Seventeen, that song is a chart topper...
Jesse is a musical genius
I'm inclined to agree; I've been paying attention to how he sometimes very blatantly ignores music theory, and that effect is well-orchestrated n his music.
NPR can be as biased as they want if they keep music like this coming man. 👍
He looks so different now! Also sings different now
He looks younger
I reckon his new look and attitude hooked back up with a band like these guys, is the winning ticket for him. He would take the world by storm. And we were all there before the fact!!!
@@lebe220 Indeed he does! Means he has found something new in himself.
so give me all the drugs
cover me in blood
it's all I need
yeah rock n roll................
at once a timeless moment
and a moment in time
Ray Manzarek
This is 1000 % pure
shredding, a very talented musician; the rolling bone.
This is dope
Best imitation of TRex I ever heard.
Welles knows Rock N Roll!
Oh, hell yeah!
Fantastic solo! I just came across this guy; 3rd song in. Not really my genre but respect and that solo was so good, i went back to listen and watch again. Well done
This sounds like John Lennon and that’s a great compliment, sounds like Plastic Ono Band, rock on 🤘
I thought the same thing as I was watching this.
This song is so great live!
Rock and Roll
Such an unknown gem!! Wonderful live as well!!
Little different than the cosmic version and a little better
Omg Cobain!
UH.....Excuse me....Care to tell me why Ive never even of HEARD of you until VERY recently?!?!
Really! Me, too!
Been binging him for about 5 days now. Had no clue such magic still existed in this dismal, talentless, copy/paste world.
@@ki11erp0ny the other day I couldn’t get the song 17 out of my head to the point that I even picked up my guitar!
All his loud wailing and electronic noise and drums here obscures the nugget of his talent, which in its pristine simplicity is only now is coming to light.
I would say definitely the drums killed his guitar solo. All the crash symbol just killed the guitar solo.
Right on!
I'm here for it
I just kinda wanna play with his hair while he sings this, neverendingly.
Is that a word?
Sounds a lot like something Soundgarden would've made tbh
Listening back to it, it's like a mix of radiohead, toadies, soundgarden, and talking head. I really like it.
Very good rockin roll
Give me more Welles, the next John Prine
I agree with certain songs but John Prine with this?!
@@JaysPigEmporium not this stuff just the new
@@JaysPigEmporium old stuff is very nirvana
Dylan meets Cobain
@@matthewdonnelly3683 Lennon meets cobain
🎤🤪👍
*Sounds like Weezer with the Lead singer of Jet!*
Bob Dylan meets Nirvana
yep
Kurt cobain
I hope he never meets Courtney Hadawin ( oh fuck what a duo) the Courtney Welles band?
Seems angry..please don't waste your talent and leave us early (27 club)
He is different now
He's so mild mannered in interviews from this time, not at all angry, neither is the music
