As long as everyone behind him is paying attention to the road ahead, everything should be alright..Because the car doesn't stop rapidly, and turns emergency lights as it starts braking..
@@theforeigner4384 still very dangerous to stop in the middle of highway !!! they should make a system that look navigation data how many lane their is and use the blind spot monitor to change lane or event use the shoulder for complete stop.
@@acericoniadak Ok,so the car changes the lane but it can't see if there is a car coming from behind in the other lane at high speed..Imagine what is gonna happen if it changes lane right in front of somebody doing 30-40km/h more than your speed..On the other side, the cars behind you are supposed to keep distance from you and are doing simillar to your speed..
hello I have an audi a5 tdi 2017 vehicle, there is a s.o.s fault, I went to the service, they said this fault cannot be fixed, what is the solution, thank you.

Does this also work the same in A4? Maybe someone knows so I don't have to test it :D
The pre-facelift A4 B9 model did not have it. I am not sure about lift version.

@@1001cars But how much sense does this make? It has ACC, steers for you for like 15 seconds, and brakes for you if you're gonna hit someone, so that means it already has all the things necessary to do this full stopping with braking to try and wake you up. Even my friends Golf VII has this working. I have a 2018 B9 A4 and only left the wheel for like 25 seconds and after that it just disables lane assist and you go straight into the wall. For me, it makes absolutely no sense. This just looks like idiotic marketing (dick) move.
amazing tech keep up the hardwork
It's strange it doesn't change lanes. I know the same system in the Volkswagen CC pulls you to the inside lane.
Exactly
Dźwięk komunikatów Audi od jakiegoś czasu jest taki przyjemny i dyskretny.. a sam system niczym sie nie rozni od tego w Golfie
The system even works without active distance control and lane assist :)
Is side assist available when opting for emergency assist? [A3 Sportback, 2023 models.]
So the car just stops in the middle of the highway. Not even on the hard shoulder. That doesn't strike me as very safe.

Sawers I know. Most of these new cars have active lane change. Why not activate it to change to break down lane or at least one over to to the right.
Sawers I like the jolt it gives you sonif you dose off hopefully that would be enough to wake you up before you are fully stopped.

Anyone else find it concerning that the car can control your own driving? Feel I’m loosing driving freedom here
